Well im not very well versed in the wine field but happened upon a bottle of Moscato . Bubbles ok but TOO sweet.Any advice or reccs on this would be appreciated. Is there a semidry or dry Moscato. The sweetness tastes like sodapop. I dont need anything real expensive either $13.00 & under . Its for dinner / chicken& fish
Your reccs?

Semi dry or dry? Bourbon works for me. That’s pretty dry.

Sorry, too sweet for me. I wouldn’t know a good one from a bad one.

Mostcato is a high suger grape used in sweet and desert wines in particular. For table wine it can be fine if the sweetness is accompanied by an appropriate level of acidity otherwise it is cloying. If you want a dry wine then I would choose a different varietal.
If you don't want to spend time figuring it out I would go with a Sauvignon Blanc as a nice light dry clean fresh tasting wine. Any good wine seller should be able to direct you to one that is reasonable and under $13.00 a bottle.

Moscato is sweet by definition. If you want a drier wine, switch to a different type of wine.

You pull out the little spout from the box and fill up your cup.

White wine.
Try a fruity Riesling - better than too sweet Moscato.
A pretty good one is Summit Estates Riesling Columbia Valley.

Try a Riesling instead. Moscatos are very sweet and probably won’t pair well with fish.

dump the contents out of the wine bottle, wash it out and recyle.
Then get some Macallen Single Malt.
Your Juevos will grow back in a jiffy.

I make my own wine. Instead of Mascato, I would try a Cabernet Sauvignon. If you prefer a dryer wine try Merlot which is hearty. I would also consider a blended red (Zinfandel, Sarah). Also, the region the grapes are grown play a major role. The soil, water, humidity all influence the wine.

I like the cheap ArborMist red moscato Cherry. I have some bottles of wine going back to the 60’s. A friend gave me 50 bottles when he moved, lol. One bottle had me excited and was 1978 French Saint-Louis Beaujolais. It was an off brand though, lol.

Moscato? Wine lovers don’t usually like sweet wines. Sorry-—I’m red and white and all dry.
Usually from Walla Walla, WA——CA, Spain and a few other areas.
We love good red blends, Merlots, Zins and the occasional Cab Franc!

I recently treated myself to a glass of Johnny Walker Blue, and I am hooked. It is so smooth, and one glass sends you into a euphoric state.
Too bad it’s $300 a bottle or I would have it every night
