Last week, a Christian teacher in California was fired from her job at a preschool for refusing to read an LGBTQ-themed book to the children of her class.
As reported by NewsBusters, Nelli Parisenkova has since filed a lawsuit against her former employer, Bright Horizons Children’s Center, over her firing. The school, located in Studio City, serves children at or under the age of 5 years. The school has publicly declared its “commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.”
Parisenkova had previously voiced her religious objections to having to read such materials, and was granted an exception for four years. However, in April of this year, when the school’s location’s director Katy Callas, who is a lesbian, heard about Parisenkova’s objections, she refused to extend her religious exemption.
According to the lawsuit, Callas “took personal offense at Ms. Parisenkova’s religious beliefs,” and then “questioned her in an irate manner,” ultimately forcing her to quit by ordering her to either “celebrate diversity” or find a new job.
The lawsuit went on to say that “Bright Horizons issued a counseling memo with false statements, terminated her life-insurance benefits, required her to complete retraining in diversity issues, and encouraged her to resign her position.”
“Ms. Parisenkova could not return to work without an accommodation,” the suit continues. “So, Bright Horizons terminated her employment.” The suit described her treatment as “harassment,” “discrimination,” and “despicable.”
In recent years, with parents becoming more aware of what schools are teaching children through remote and virtual learning implemented as a result of COVID, there have been widespread grassroots movements against far-left indoctrination in education. The LGBTQ agenda, which openly promotes homosexuality as well as transgenderism – the belief that there are more than two genders, and that anyone can change their gender at any given time – has especially become a fierce cultural battle, with far-left advocacy group and teachers unions demanding that little children be taught about sexual degeneracy as part of embracing “diversity.”
Who would have believed this only 10 years ago?

She was forced into perversity diversity. Her type of diversity is not allowed.

These children were abandoned there, they belong to the business.

If and when the pendulum does swing back and the manure hits the windmill, the perverts and favored minorities are going to realize just how incredibly duped and used they were by the commies and their crony capitalists.

Unless the regular LGBTQ community stands up against this type of “force” into compliance they will all be painted with the same brush as the radical fringe group of militant gays and transgenders. I don’t care what you do in your bedroom because that is between you and God, but please do not bring it into schools before little kids. It is up to the parents to either teach their kids about LGBTQ facts and history or not. It’s not up to a teacher to talk about their sex life in class.
I’m not sure if this is a public school or not, but in an6 case, this is where we’re heading anyways.

The problem is that the modern university’s idea of “diversity” excludes all dissident opinions to the one accepted definition of “diversity” which it “values.”
There can be no diversity of opinion on issues of “gender,” even though the present dogmatism that the modern university “values” was not even conceivable in any human societies and cultures until the past few decades. Should those with diverse opinions on the topic of “gender” endeavor to voice their opinions on modern university campuses they will be subjected to the threat of physical violence.
And what is true of issues of “gender” is true of other issues, such as marriage, sexual ethics, abortion, et cetera. No genuine diversity on any of these issues is tolerated by the modern university, which outlaws all such diversity on the grounds of “diversity” and excludes all dissident opinions on the grounds of “inclusiveness.” If this isn’t newspeak and doublethink at their most egregious, it’s hard to know what is. Big Brother would be proud.

I wish I could agree but the ‘anti-racism’ and ‘hate has no home here’ communists have pretty extensively infiltrated red state America through the churches. Amazingly regular Americans will take woke communism as gospel teaching if it comes out of the mouth of ‘preacher’. Why he is all edumakted and stuff and if says having a Confederate flag is a ‘sin against God’ and white people are guilty of ‘historic sins of oppression’ just by being white , well it must be so. Just amazing the numbers of middle class white people in red state America that let themselves be psychologically disarmed. If we are going to be saved it will not be the ‘goood people’ who do it but the kind of foughnecks I sazw in the Salvadorian Army and what was stupidly called the Contrtas. They were not good people by the standards of the Salvadorian middle class but they killed commies and their allies in large numbers and kept Central America from becoming Cuba. When the war ended the local ‘goood people’ came out of hiding and made it clear how much they hated their saviors. The the Bush administration pulled out , like almost overnight, after the Soviet Union collapsed . The drug dealers showed up in a couple years and effectively took what the commies couldn’t since Bushie could care less. But it will not be ‘good people’ who save the United States but men and women who will do a lot of very bad things for a good purpose.

I think it works out better if she forced them to fire her rather than quit.
A servant worked for a wicked king once, and when asked why he co ti ued to work for such an ‘evil king’ his reply was ‘because, imagine how much more evil he would be if he didn’t have any kind of opposing viewpoints at all’. We are part of the ‘Restrainer’. If Christians weren’t around, the immoral folks would have free reign to do whatever they want whenever they wanted, and things would be even worse than they are now- Hey would be just as in the days of noah when all of society was continually evil day and night. If it wasn’t for the remnant of faithful Christians on earth, life would be a living hell for everyone. (Although we are close to that now, we are still a voice for resistance to the evil... parents are gai ing some victories against the madness. If noone objected, school would be nothing but a huge gay orgy by pervs and pedos. Sadly it’s close to,that now, but thankfully there is still some resistance.
