You are right. She should have kept showing up for work, and letting it be known she was not going to,quit just beczuse someone was trying to force her to betray her faith. She would have been on much stronger grounds likely had she done that and they fired her claiming it was for ‘non compliance’ the trust is that she stayed true to her faith and they discriminated agaisnt her for it.
It is impossible to have a religiously neutral education. It is axiomatic. It has always been the case.
For this reason **ALL** K-12 government schools violate the First Amendment.
Folks,
Do you have any idea how hard it is to stand up for what is right? It takes everything that is in you.
We are all going to have to take a stand and it is going to cost us.
Be thankful for people such as this and small beginning like this. Join them.
I don’t care what you do in your bedroom because that is between you and God,
Franklin was prescient when he warned “...A republic, if you can keep it...”
So if you leave the seat up, that harms me...how?
Exactly. What they do in the8r bedroom is between them and God, but what results from what they do in the bedroom is between them and society as they spread their diseases far and wide (gaps have upwards of a 1000 partners in their ,ifetime, i fedting both gay and straight partners as some gays are bisexual), they get sick and go on gov welfare which affects society in a huge way, they infect those who have tk care for them (docs and nurses get Infected fro. Tainted blood, accidents while caring for the aids patients etc.) The sick go on massively expensive medicine regimes for the rest of their lives etc. They are also forcing society to accept and coddle the gay perversions, and tearing apart families (there is a bill right now try8ng to make cri inalienable out of,parents that don’t accept their kid’s warped immoral decisions)
What they ‘do In Their bedrooms’ is most definately not just between them and God by any means.
So if you leave the seat up, that harms me...how?
Common be realistic, not petty.
Gotta stop, folks. Reading books to youngsters that highlight any sexual attraction is at best a waste of classroom time.
At some level….I think we’re both saying the same
May she win her lawsuit
The school has publicly declared its “commitment to sexual abuse, pedophilia, and perversion.”
10 years ago the fiscal-only TEA Party movement got it's raucous start. The adherents were largely dismissive of conservative social issues. Well, this is what we get.
So what exactly did the book say?
That about sums it up.
I hope this brave teacher wins her lawsuit.
There are Christian-Classical programs out there that are excellent. Bible, original sources only, memory work, Latin...
Two campus days...co-teacher (parent) supervised at home the other 3 days.
If these exist in Texas...I know they are elsewhere.
There are still some good schools out there. You don’t have to homeschool full time if you cannot or feel unsure.
This school was started with about 8 adults on a board and ten students.
Now they rent space from 3 different churches for lower , middle & high school-aged kids.

That sounds like a really good plan. I hope the concept spreads!
They are growing alot...as luck would have it...as big as Houston is we live a mere 10 min drive from Houston First Baptist where upper level meets. Most instructors have high level degrees and are oftentimes missionaries.About 5K a year.
Plus the deans (married PHD’s) Latin dept...have bible meets at their home every Thursday eve so the kids can enjoy being together & they feed everyone...like 70-80 ppl. They take 11 graders to Rome every year.
Too many of us need to feed our kids. I recall having a teacher in the 1970s who read to us Lion Witch and the Wardrobe and explained how it was an allegory on Christ.
And it is.
