One Reddit poster took to the platform to vent about their unfortunate experience at Epcot. Seems Disney World Florida Man was at it again with some pretty heavy front end damage to the poster’s car. The victim was enjoying a night out at Epcot watching the Hanson show when someone Mmm-Bopped their car. To add to the insult, whoever smashed the car left behind a hundred dollars and a note that said “sorry”. But no information so they could file a claim. From the picture it looks like they hooked the back bumper with this car’s front end. Probably sideswiped the corner.
The poster did the right thing, but isn’t expecting much “We did contact security and filed a case with FHP but they didn’t send anyone out because the vehicle wasn’t occupied and is on private property. They said they have an investigator who may contact us but we’ll probably only see footage if a case is pursued.” Speculation in the comment section would suggest that the Disney World Florida Man who hit the car was uninsured or had been drinking. Leaving the scene to prevent a DUI. Since it’s Florida, my money would be on “both”.
And who does that? A note that says “sorry” and a hundred bucks? There’s no way that’ll cover the deductible. And since they’ve not seen the footage, we don’t really know if its a Disney World Florida Man, or Disney World Florida Woman.

Apparently, Disney/Epcot’s prices aren’t high enough to stop Florida Man from getting inside.
Otherwise, it's pretty lame.
Even if it costs a few thousand to fix, it’s still in the noise compared to the cost of going to Disney.
I bet he was swerving to avoid hitting an alligator.
I only go there in the summer so I can pay 12 dollars for a soda from a thermally priced vending machine.
Hey, he covered the deductible.
George: (taking the lunch check) Here, let me get that. I smashed your car, cost you $2,000...
Jerry: Yeah, a cup of coffee should cover that.
Had to be a tourist man from Snowbird Country. Florida Man isn’t going to go to Disney; he could get in free by working there.
And had to be a man. A woman would have left three pages of excuses as to why the vic’s car was in the wrong place.
Goofy
Well, he did say “sorry”.
“And had to be a man. A woman would have left three pages of excuses as to why the vic’s car was in the wrong place.
Brilliant response. And probably true. Responsible, mature people leave a note with contact information or wait around to talk to the driver.
I would have left more, said the note, but I damaged my own car. Priorities.
Forget it Jake, it’s Florida.
Just proves how cheaply made our cars are - and how flaky our copy writers are these days.
