It costs a jaw-dropping $85,536 a year to attend the University of Chicago as an undergraduate and live on campus, but it’s worth every penny. For that money your son, daughter, or offspring of indeterminate gender can tackle some of the real problems that are bedeviling our society today. They can take a course entitled “The Problem of Whiteness,” which is part of the university’s rollicking “Critical Race and Ethnic Studies” curriculum. Yes, $85,536 for this crude racist indoctrination.
As you might expect, the whole thing is couched in gobs of pseudo-intellectual verbiage loaded with the favored campus buzzwords of the day, but it can really all be boiled down to “white people are evil oppressors, nonwhite people are noble victims.” The university’s 2022-2023 Catalog states that “the BA program in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies (CRES) offers an interdisciplinary curriculum that leads students to examine both the processes through which members of the human population have been constructed as racial and ethnic groups, and the political, historical, social, and cultural effects of this constitution.” See, the idea here is that white people invented racial categories and then used them to oppress those outside the classification they made for themselves.
Studying this, we’re told, “trains students to think critically and comparatively about the varying ways in which race and ethnicity have been constructed in different parts of the world and in different historical periods.” The lurid and salacious part comes next: “Focusing on conquest, subjugation, genocide, slavery, segregation, migration, and diasporas, as well as resistance to these historic and contemporary practices of subjugation, CRES prompts students to examine the political, social, and cultural practices and institutions of minority or marginalized populations in pre-colonial, colonial, and postcolonial settings.”

Any slavery that currently exists in Asia and Africa is OK. It’s not white people doing it.
Ray Bradbury observed that one could become well educated in a library, reading and reading. I, a generation or so later, read in that same library, and find "university" for the most part today to be a very silly and sad entity, while Bradbury's advice gleams like gold.
In its defense, the University of Chicago is one of the least “woke” top universities in the USA. If you recall, its former President, Robert Zimmer, created a controversy when he sent a letter to all incoming freshman saying, in effect, the university will not put up with “cancel culture” and will not coddle “snowflakes.”
We CAN say that social sciences across every university in America have become a totally corrupt field of study.
Cobalt mining by children in Africa goes to those Biden-Thunberg "green" batteries. Strip mining in so many places allows the environmentalists to drive their "rare earth" battery cars, and feel -- well -- environmental.
Plus, they make our cell phones, our sneakers and supply the organ replacement market.
The U of C has been a hotbed of Communism for generations. No surprise here except the price.
The really disgusting thing is that this type of flagellations and guilting of whites are being perpetrated by WHITES themselves - the guilt ridden, race hustlers that can never do enough groveling and self debasement.
These self loathing whites are the biggest enemy of the white race more so than people of other races.
We must find a way to eradicate them from our midst.
The University of Chicago Economics Department is ( or was, I don’t know today ) a bastion of classical liberal and free market thinking.
The great economist and Nobel Prize winning free market champion Milton Freedman taught in that school for years. His many other colleagues hold similar views.
I wonder if their economics department is still the same…
Nor of all the overwhelming and disproportionate contributions whites have made to what we call civilization.

My grandfather attended The University of Chicago in the early 20’s, he was a WW1 veteran. He would be very ashamed of what this once great university has turned into.

That is NOT a certainty my friend, and Biden’s fiscal authority grab is still under litigation.
And even if it finally gets approved, the government only pays $10,000 of your loan. You’re still on the hook for the rest.
I can’t help but wonder what the response would be if there were courses on “The problem of blackness”or “The problem of Jewishness?”
You know it.
