The complexions of the division races in the SEC changed dramatically on Saturday. No. 3 Georgia easily beat No. 1 Tennessee to take control of the SEC East and likely assume the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings on Monday. And No. 10 LSU took down No. 6 Alabama in dramatic fashion in a 32-31 overtime victory after the Tigers went for two.

1: Looked to me the Vols suffered deer in a head lights moment away from Knoxville. Tennessee self-destructed in the Red and Maroon Zones opportunities with multiple false start penalties. 2: Interesting Kirby Smart running Saban Windows 2000 is looking so much dominant than Saban running Saban Windows 11. 3. Maybe the Mailman cum Law Firm is not a physical specimen freak athlete but he a true field general and can make the deep throws for big plays. 4: Did the Heisman Trophy just Heismaned Hooker? Stroud looks like the heavy favorite by elimination. 5: LSU, like Auburn a few years ago, has a path to a playoff bid as a 2 loss SEC team. The path is a lot easier than what Auburn tried to pull off with the only legit opponent being Georgia at the SEC Championship game. 6: Clemson losing badly to the Domers has opened up the field for a playoff bid: TCU guaranteed bid if wins out, if not, 1 loss Oregon, UCLA or USC if wins out, or loser of THE BIG GAME. Clemson remaining schedule cannot overcome that loss. For perhaps the only time in my life I am happy the Fightin' Pete Benders' won.

After yesterday's mess at Northwestern? Ohio State will drop in the rankings.

Otoh, Bennett played great and destroyed the Vols.

when I saw Bennett make big throw after big throw against a legit Michigan defense, I became much more appreciative of his abilities.

I appreciate his personal qualities as well. (1) Military (bootcamp) haircut (2) Supports the troops (3) Flew with the Blue Angels (4) Reads and quotes Churchill.

Regarding the Michigan team, Coach Harbaugh gets my full-throated support for having Pro-life values.

LSU beats Bama!!! TCU looks very mediocre in their win.

Shuffle the deck because USC will be moving way up and the Tide will be moving out.

Oregon has the best team they have ever had. Rose Bo Nix is playing as good as anyone in the country and the team is getting better.

The USC Trojans won their homecoming game yesterday, but the Berkeley Commies were still in the game with a minute and a half to go before they were finally blacklisted.

Bo Nix is sort of walking, throwing proof of Auburn’s dysfunction.

I don’t see any change in the potential playoff teams currently with off course Tennessee dropping out. Who replaces them will be interesting. If they drop out.
Ole Miss needs to win this coming Saturday to still have a chance to will the West. They have already lost to LSU, and LSU still has I believe Texas A&M & Arkansas. What a season.👍

Your Trojans, after this upcoming de facto bye week, has a gauntlet coming up UCLA, Domers, and most likely Oregon. Matchups that will draw national eyeballs. The SEC is done as UGA has ta position locked and the only game of any meaning in the SEC West is Ole Miss v. ‘Bama. Is Troy getting amped about this?

We certainly are--and this season has been remarkable as it comes after a series of wilderness years culminating in a 4-8 season in '21.

He may be the best we have had. His deep ball is better than Mariota’s.

If things work out I-110 to I-210 match up might be the biggest since Aikman v. Peete game.

Thanks to the Irish beat down of the Tigers, OSU will stay in contention.

PSU may have the best they have had too (at least since Kerry Collins), and he holds a clipboard most of the time.

Isn’t it likely they still vote Alabama into the playoffs?

"Isn’t it likely they still vote Alabama into the playoffs?"

Nope. Not even a remote chance. The Tide is done for this year.
