The complexions of the division races in the SEC changed dramatically on Saturday. No. 3 Georgia easily beat No. 1 Tennessee to take control of the SEC East and likely assume the top spot in the College Football Playoff rankings on Monday. And No. 10 LSU took down No. 6 Alabama in dramatic fashion in a 32-31 overtime victory after the Tigers went for two.

Alabama tied the game 24-24 on a field goal with 21 seconds remaining in the game. LSU defeats Alabama in OT 32-31 Bama got the ball first in OT and scored a TD and kicked the extra point. LSU got the ball and the QB ran 25 yards for a TD, and then went for the 2 point win, and got it.

Scott Frost’s time at Nebraska has come to an end. Nebraska athletic director Trev Alberts announced Sunday that the school has fired Frost as head coach just three games into his fifth season on the job. The move comes on the heels of a 45-42 home loss to Georgia Southern that dropped the Huskers to 1-2 on the season and 16-31 overall with Frost as head coach. After much anticipation, the Big Ten has finalized a blockbuster media rights partnership that is the largest in all of college sports.
