A mother has shared her devastation after she invited 27 children to her daughter's third birthday party - only for none of them to show up.
Mom-of-three Breanna Strong, 27, from Salt Lake City, Utah, threw what she thought would be a massive celebration for her daughter, Avery, at KidsTopia Playground - a 'jungle-themed indoor playground' with giant slides, ball pits, and tunnels.
She ordered pizzas, an intricate Frozen-themed cake, and tons more goodies, expecting at least some of the 27 kids she had invited to come.
However, she was left devastated for her three-year-old daughter when not one of the invited guests turned up for the party.
She opened up about the heart wrenching ordeal on TikTok in a video that quickly went viral - gaining more than four million views in a matter of days - and resulted in many people around the world sending Avery their love.
We invited 27 kids to Avery's third birthday party. Not a single one of her friends showed up,' Breanna wrote in the video, as she showed off the empty room.
'Money and time wasted. Breaks my momma heart so bad. Literally going to go home and snuggle my babies.'
One clip featured Avery sitting by herself and eating some pizza, before the mother took the rest and dropped it in the garbage. Another saw Breanna holding back tears as she drove home from the failed party.
'I wish I was making this up,' she added in the caption.

Like a lot of the comments at Daily Mail, I don’t believe these types of stories anymore.
Moms doing this to go viral, which it did.
Real smart of Mom to embarrass her kid further by ‘opening up about the heart wrenching ordeal on TikTok’.
Not buying this story.
Issue? Tissue. Adversity is healthy BTW.
And if you couldn’t go for some reason, our polite to a fault moms would have RSVP’d a “cannot attend.”
Our kids are now 31, 34, and 36 and it was that way when they were all little. The moms were all good friends and would never let another mom suffer like that. What the heck is wrong with basic civility?
But why didn’t mom call the other moms to get a headcount?
my honest impression is that this is a probable fake story scam for attention and money. Normal people ask for rsvp to get an idea of how many are coming. If nobody rsvp’d then i don’t think she’d have a party set up for 27 people. And i seriously doubt 27 people rsvp’d and then didn’t show. Does not compute. But i bet the donations and attention come rolling in now.
The little girl was just turning 3. This would have been overkill even without assuming guests without rsvps.

I’ve heard a lot of stories like this in the past say 10 years or so? The parents throw a child’s party and no one shows up. Parents would even RSVP they were coming and still now show up.
I’m just shocked at the rudeness.
The kid was turning 3 and likely isn't old enough to feel embarrassed about anything. Apparently, no one likes the mother... She is looking for victim status over nothing and probably pulls the same type of crap repeatedly.
Sorry for the kid, but I can’t believe this is the kind of thing that passes for worldwide “news” these days.
And, like you, I think Mom is doing this for attention (ie: “donations.”)
Twenty seven three year olds in a non daycare environment is a contained riot.
I’m not saying it’s impossible, but I have trouble believing that NOT ONE of the 27 invited kids showed up or their parents gave any indication they weren’t coming. I’m not skeptical by nature, but this strains credulity.
Reads like a ploy for a massive amount of gift cards and other goodies from suckers around the world.
Hopefully this three year old birthday party was not a “gender reveal”

The mom did have people RSVP, only 3 backed out several days before.
It’s not just the moms suffering what about the kids? In this story she’s only 3 but I’ve seen it happen to children as old at 6, 8 and even one turning 18 (invited high school friends)
The 3 year old won’t remember but then again I remember going to a party when I was around 3 or 4. I can even tell you the name of the girl who had the party and all the kids there.
That would be a “gender redo” party.
