(Reuters) - The Canadian man accused of breaking into the San Francisco home of U.S. House of Representatives Speaker Nancy Pelosi and striking her 82-year-old husband, Paul, in the head with a hammer pleaded not guilty to federal criminal charges on Tuesday, local media reported.

David Wayne DePape, 42, was ordered held without bond on federal charges of assault and attempted kidnapping and is scheduled to return to U.S. District Court in San Francisco on Nov. 30, local ABC-7 reported.

DePape pleaded not guilty on Nov. 2 to state charges of attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, burglary, elder abuse, false imprisonment and threatening a public official.

He is accused of gaining entry to the home of Paul and Nancy Pelosi on Oct. 28 and striking Paul Pelosi with a hammer, leaving him hospitalized with a skull fracture and injuries to his hand and arm. Paul Pelosi has since been released from a San Francisco area hospital.

DePape faces a maximum sentence of up to 50 years in prison if found guilty of the federal charges, although sentencing guidelines typically call for less time behind bars. The state charges carry a maximum prison sentence of 13 years to life.

Capitol Police officials have undertaken an "internal security review" to determine how its officers failed to notice the attack despite having security cameras trained on the Pelosi home.

If Paul ordered up a prostitute, wouldn't the 'Capitol Police' be ordered to look the other way? Or just do it on their own? "Not again."

They might just toss him into a mental ward and be done with him for a good long time.

His only crime is being a male prostitute. Paul Pelosi is a knee-pad wearing, cross dressing, pillow biting, kid piddling, slack- jawed faggot.

As a low-life, scumbag criminal one can do almost anything in San Francisco and get released on "no cash bail".

But not if it involves one of the Cloud People.

He's being held without bail, and he's been charged twice - once by the Feds and once by the State, which certainly seems to go against the spirit of the "no double jeopardy" clause of the Constitution.

I love how the lead now is that he’s a Canadian. He’s lived in SF for decades. It’s a “sanctuary” for those like him. But that’s not the problem.

I wonder if he’s smart enough to realize his life is in danger!

They could just deport him to Canada, hand him a bundle of cash, have him sign a non-disclosure agreement—and he could live happily ever after.

Oh yeah—and seal all court documents and videos—national security you know!

What good is a non-disclosure agreement with a drug using psychotic?

This guy is going to commit suicide or be murdered in jail by another psychotic inmate.

He will be deported to Northern Canada, paid $100K to shut up, and will be eaten by what will appear to be a large bear. They won’t be able to tell its him other than blood and tissue samples found in the bear poop.

Well, that is an innovative plan.

But why would a guy with all that money who was living in a garage in SF decide to go live in an area with bears, far from all of the wonderful recreational drugs that urban area could provide?

But then the Leftist press would run with the approved narrative and we would be conspiracy theorist if we suggested that he was disappeared by the Leftist Biden Mafia.

But everyone knows he is on suicide watch.

By the way “threatening a public official” must mean when he asked “where’s Nancy” it was implied he was going to do something wrong but a defense attorney should say how does anyone know? He might have wanted to console Nancy for having an idiot husband, or ask if Nancy wanted to get early renewal on Prevention with a gift subscription included.

Accused of “gaining entry to the home” but not breaking in.

People like that will agree to anything for 2 kilos of cocaine, hash, weed, magic mushrooms, and a free cabin and a hundred grand. Oddly enough the guy noticed everything around him smelled like bacon?

Sure, but wouldn’t it be cheaper to supply him with a little weed in prison that had just a bit too much Fentanyl added to it?
