He was talking about deep state.

Not too long after this speech, he got his head blown off.

Btw, after the last 6.5 years seeing what these criminals in government are capable of, I have little doubt people within government were behind Kennedy’s assassination.

While I disagree with many of the political positions of JFK and find his reckless behavior with young women and celebrity women to be a major character flaw for chief executives, there are certain positives about the man.

He stuck with his dowdy secretary, Evelyn Lincoln, and reciprocated her loyalty to him.

He refused to completely throw Joe McCarthy under the bus and took some heat for not joining the full scale pile on of his colleague who he respected.

He had an instinct for how America was perceived on the world stage and understood the dangers of appearing weak.

He understood that the leader of the free world should be within reach of the people and he accepted risks in campaigning and public appearances. Motorcade pics of him in an open car on Nashville’s narrow Church Street show he was actually accepting too much risk. He ordered the Secret Service to not ride on the foot holds of his Lincoln Limo in Dallas. He admired Ian Fleming’s James Bond character (he read the early novels) and wanted something of the everything-turns-out-all-right-in-the-end narrative for himself. He was not safety conscious but he was no coward and bravery is still a virtue.
