Scientists believe that they have discovered a key clue in the mysterious death of aviation pioneer Amelia Earhart — who famously went missing during her ill-fated flight around the globe in 1937.
A team of researchers at Penn State’s Radiation Science and Engineering Centre (RSEC) discovered never-before-seen letters on a metal plate that washed ashore the remote island of Nikumaroro and recovered in 1991.
One well-publicized theory about her disappearance is that she died a castaway after landing her plane on the remote coral atoll in the western Pacific Ocean.

It wasn't her first mishap but a little less than two years before the ill-fated flight she ground-looped the same Lockheed Electra she later would disappear in on landing at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, and did considerable damage (which George was happy to pay to have repaired).
At the time there were any number of American aviatrixes (Jacqueline Cochran, Ann Baumgartner, Bessie Coleman, et Al) who were skilled pilots who flew to earn a paycheck. As opposed to a hobby pilot with a rich husband to keep them in airplanes and fuel.
That picture was debunked. It was from 1935, not 1937 as claimed...she was alive and living in the States in 35.
I don’t get it. What do the letters mean?
“send lawyers, guns and money. The Sh*t has hit the fan”
Due apology to Warren Zevon .....
The piece was supposedly from a repair made to the Electra following an accident on earlier attempt at flight
Someone will look into the 2020/2022 election fraud (and any before that) in about 100 years.
That is, when we’re all dead and gone and it doesn’t matter anymore.
Amelia Earhart got lost in a big ocean, crashed and her and the plane sank.
Thanks, didn’t know that.

The thing is, at that point they will find, as in so many historical events, that it actually mattered a lot. I think it will be looked back on as a turning point in our nation. One that will historically be seen as something that affected issues world-wide. In a hundred years, I suspect what we know now as the United States of America will just be a small chapter in the history books. The 2016 (and the deep state actors’ response), 2020, and 2022 elections will be seen as a pivotal point in our nation’s demise.
There will be people saying mockingly “fake news” or “Sad” or maybe even “Covfefe” much as we now create memes with the words “Let them eat cake” or “and the band plays on”.
Decades ago, even the democrat party thought those that committed crimes should be punished and locked up as punishment for those crimes. Now, they demand that crimes be excused or even rewarded. Things move quickly and you have to wonder, “How did they get to their current position on that issue?”.
What will the future history books say as to how we got from 2016 to 2023 and what were the major issues and causes of all that followed?
That picture looked legit to me also, especially when I first saw it.
I just think at this point they went down deep into the ocean and the plane is long gone.
Joni Mitchell.
When an airplane is repaired, careful records have to be made so that parts can be traced to a certified supplier. They are hoping that the replacement panels can be located in repair logs for the airplane. That would tell them if the parts actually came from her airplane.
I meant it won’t matter to us, but yes, it will matter to those future generations after us.
I do believe we’ve crossed the rubicon and are losing our Republic, as Doctor Franklin forewarned us of not so long ago.
ummm interesting, i wonder if the numbers are location numbers
