In 2018 police received nearly 900 calls to the franchise store, prompting the police chief to write a letter to the McDonald's president CEO expressing 'concerns'
A McDonald's franchise dubbed the "world’s worst" has closed its doors for good after 40 years.
The restaurant on Rideau Street in Ottawa, Canada, has made headlines for all the wrong reasons over the years.
From raccoon fights and sex not in but near the bathrooms, to repeated violent outbursts occurring on sight.

In the context of this story, during a 2013 brawl at this McDonalds restaurant, one of the patrons involved in the brawl pulled a live raccoon out of his jacket pocket and threw it into the melee.
