Chick-fil-A launched their new cauliflower sandwich on Monday, but some are already complaining about its hefty price tag.
The sandwich has a starting price tag of $6.59, according to USA Today, but many are claiming it cost them more than that.
The new dish, which is being tested in three markets — Denver, Colo., Charleston, SC, and North Carolina’s Greensboro-Triad area — is the restaurant’s first plant-forward meal. On Chick-fil-A’s website, they describe the sandwich as a “tender filet” made from cauliflower that’s then breaded in their “signature seasoning” and pressure-cooked in their 100% refined peanut oil.

Chick Fil A is horribly overrated. The ones around me, their sandwiches truly suck butt.

They’re the best chicken sandwiches and have been forever.
Different strokes. We love Chick-Fil-A.
Popeye’s chicken sandwiches are greatly superior to CFA.
Maybe they make them better where you are. The ones around here are blandly unimpressive with crappy fast food mcdonalds style buns.
Because people don’t go there to buy Cauliflower Filet, the people are speaking loud and clear. The vast majority do not want fake meat. The stock price of the fake meat business’ has plummeted because most simply want the real thing.
Don’t go a lot but last time I went the bun was stale.
Thats what I have heard from other people as well. Dont really have any nearby. Too white to visit where I know some of them exist.
Remember when they were being attacked by the left and we stood up for them, supported them tremendously?

I remember this, but it really doesn’t have anything to do with my disappointment in their sandwiches at my local places. Could be they just suck around where I live. Dunno.
Actually, that's the wrong order. They had turned their back before the left went after them.
Their food is a concession to pop-culture blandness.
I miss the days when I could eat my food in peace and not think about the politics of my food.
These are the same idiots who removed the most beloved Cole slaw from the menu.
Now, they pay people millions to come up with new menu ideas and they come to the conclusion that everyone wants more veggies.
i say soak those suckers for all they’re worth...
vegans should pay more for ruining everything else
Popeye’s sandwiches are overrated greaseballs that cost three times what they should.
Popeye’s chicken itself is not that good either. I’d rather buy the pre-prepared breaded chicken from the store and fry is my self. Less than half the price, and done exactly right.
Cauliflower is currently priced at $6.99 per head right now where I live.
