I sincerely hope you heal without too much difficulty. I certainly have had more than my share of serious injuries, and know the struggle of regaining health even through compromised musculoskeletal integrity. Adherence to a disciplined Physical Therapy regimen can seem daunting at times, but you must push through even to achieve a semblance of less than 100% of previous movement and balance.

(I’ve seen that sometimes in here, people ask for prayer. But I speak to them, asking if THEY KNOW PERSONALLY this risen Lord, and they go quiet. Your bio says you’re a ‘Christian’, I hope that means ‘Born Again’. If you are not ‘saved’ God MAY NOT HEAR YOUR PRAYERS FOR HELP.)

God allowed this because of His GREAT LOVE FOR YOU, for a teaching tool, to draw you nearer; don’t squander it.
It is good that you reported this on FR. We have to learn from such incidents. Many of us have bobbled a gun in the field or have made handling mistakes. I’m sorry you received a grievous wound. Prayers for a complete recovery.

Did the police confiscate your weapon? Did they enter your house? Did they take anything? Did they ask you a bunch of questions? Do you mind telling us more about the interaction with law enforcement?
