Oh Boy...

Well now there's a problem.

Tucker has released video that pretty-much blows a hole in the entire January 6th narrative. In fact, it blows it up, sets it alight and watches it burn to ash.

This is a serious problem for a number of reasons, not the least of which is the number of people sitting in prison -- or convicted on connived, false claims with no ability for their defense to access the evidence proving that in many cases they were escorted.

At worst most of these people are guilty of trespass, but even there you likely can't make it stick as trespass is voided if you're invited or chaperoned, and its quite clear that at least in some cases -- they are.

There's another problem too: The Brady decision by the USSC makes clear that the prosecution must turn over all evidence they have which exculpates a defendant. It's not optional and it dates to 1963. The violations here are severe and in fact it appears basically universal.

I have no idea how the DOJ thought they'd get away with this indefinitely, but apparently they did think they would.

Well, not any more.

Now the question becomes if the government will not live to its own laws, what remains?

A republic is supposed to depend upon the Rule of Law.
An oligarchy depends upon the Rule of Men.

More people need to wake up and realize that Republic of the United States established by the Constitution, as the highest law in the land, is over. We are in a new phase now, and anything goes.

The left is already saying it does not matter because he became violent and destroyed property after he was escorted in.

He just announced another 250 indictments. Taking it to one 1000

Were there even that many who walked into the building?

One of the biggest tells in this so-called ‘breach’ of the Capital is that the set-up artist had to have opened the Capitola doors. Have you paid attention to those doors? They are massive, solid, and, I believe, swing outward to open. Nobody could breach those doors unless they were opened from the inside, which proves to me it was a set-up from the get-go. Just this one fact needs to be fully fleshed out.

Now the question becomes if the government will not live to its own laws, what remains?

As Ben Franklin said, "We give you a Republic, if you can hold it".

The verdict is in, we can't.

What remains? The same thing as happened in nazi Germany after 1933, gummint sponsored bigotry and anarchy.

People were/are too afraid to speak out.

The only thing that has prevented wholesale citizens arrests, is the fact that for now, the American people are the largest standing army in the world {we have over 400,000,000 firearms}.

If the gummint overplays their hand and starts a citizen revolution, no one can predict the outcome.

I hope that it doesn't come to that, because there are no good outcomes.

The USA withstood one civil war based on ideology and geography, this one has no geography, so your neighbor could be your enemy, and that would be very tough to sort out.

The doors weigh tons.

The windows are supposed to be unbreakable/secure.

The Capitol was bombed by Leftists in the 70s and 80s.

It was the weathermen, aka, Ayers/Holder/Pelosi…..Obama’s mentors.

See History.com, etc.

"I wonder how this will affect Merrick’s little show trial?"

Hmm, at some point they may think: "now or never" - either they lose everything they've worked (and stole) so hard for, or roll the dice and declare Martial Law.

I doubt they will be able to just "tread water" now - not with these tapes in public view and the continuing collapse of the Covid narrative.

This is not earth shattering news. Tucker is just rereleasing some footage we have already seen. Tucker was given special access(wink, wink) by Kevin McCarthy(wink, wink) to show this was nothing but a setup(wink, wink) but because this is classified information(wink, wink) Tucker must view it in a SCIF and have approval to remove what he deems pertinent
(wink, wink) under the direction of Kevin(wink, wink) all while peoples 5th and 6th amendment rights are trampled under the guise of national security(wink, wink), yet they still rot in a filthy jail under a justice system that is directed to kill any opposition to the establishment.

… if the government will not live to its own laws, what remains?

That is the crux of it. We quit being a nation of laws long ago. The little guys get railroaded and the big guys walk.

It’s time to erase the noble inscriptions off of the 88 year old Department of Justice building. Here is one good one to start with…

… inscriptions were carefully chosen to provide a unifying theme reflecting the role of the Department in a constitutional democracy. Over the Constitution Avenue entrance, Jennewein designed a relief panel with a Latin inscription taken from Pliny's Epistle. It means "Everything is created by Law and Order."

You all are presuming that the remaining defendants will be able to obtain competent legal representation which will argue their cases in a proper, adversarial manner.

I seriously doubt that that’s the case.

We already know that “court” appointed lawyers have been working AGAINST their clients to maintain good relations with the Power.

A proper defense of these life-altering charges is going to cost hundreds of thousands, maybe millions. And, you need a lawyer who isn’t afraid of what DOJ can do to him, AND who isn’t also a lunatic (Trump defense team, I’m looking at you).

I agree this is huge, almost do or die for our previous form of government.

But the whole thing turns on three things in short supply - money, uncorrupted courts, and honest and fearless lawyers.

Victory isn’t the way to bet.

If nothing comes of this and we just go on to the next subject....if our leaders can blatantly lie against their own citizens and get away with it....if Republicans do nothing about this.....

No election will fix it. Empires last around 250 years historically. Read The Fate of Empires by Sir John Glubb.
