I missed the idea it was a program and not a drug. I still don’t like the idea that a character can take something, anything, and gain power, knowledge, super-anything. It gives kids the idea that something they can take will make them better.

The Red Pill didn’t make you better, it only revealed the truth to you. What you made of it was up to you.

And in the movie one character preferred to live in the lie. It was much safer to live the lie than to face the truth.

In the movie Neo was already a superman when he took the Red Pill. The Pill didn’t change him it just revealed his true self.
