I heard someone speculate he’s going to host a show with Elon Musk on Twitter. Think of the eyeballs that would attract to Twitter.
Anyway, Carlson will get RICH. Think Joe Rogan type $$$ contract to host his podcast and other internet media
I might as well cut my cable TV completely now.
Ya know for $10 million a year this year, you’d think that he would traet colleagues with respect.
Mr. Lemon hasn’t been a “journalist” in ages. His BA in broadcast journalism should have taught him that FACTs (Fast, Accurate, Concise, True) are different from his own private political opinions. My degree in journalism sure as hell taught ME that. Now holding a master’s it’s even more shockingly apparent to me how far he deviated from journalism and into plain old personal opinion.
Mr. Licht at CNN made it pretty darn clear that CNN was to go back to fact based news and pivot away from some guy and his opinion. His opinion is worth not more, not one tiny bit less than my own or anyone else’s. His objectivism or lack thereof was a searchlight in your face within 10 minutes of watching him.
I work with female journalists every day and respect the hell out of them. The allegations against him for disrespecting colleagues would be enough for anyone in my news organization to be shown the door. This and the DNC’s talking points that were either the outline or the actual script for his broadcasts were untenable for the new old direction of CNN which is—get this—NEWS.
As a reporter my own political views were not heard. I reported facts and whenever possible the opposite side.
Perhaps he’ll remember that wherever he lands next.
This may be the only thign I agree with Don Lemon about. Commie Nazi Network should have had the decency to fire him in person. He’s right about that.
And Lemon in recent years has been employed as a commentator — you know, the editorial department, not “reporter.”

Good point. I have to think that Tucker knew this was brewing and has been looking at his options going forward. He won’t be off the air for long.
I give the Twitter platform based show for Tucker about a 90% chance of happening. Musk has expressed interest in making Twitter a complete media, transaction, and communication platform. Could see Twitter going in for podcast shows both video and audio in a big way.
Could make so much more money doing that than a stupid lateral legacy format move to something like Newsmax. That whole network based system of content delivery is a dinosaur model that will be dying out in the next two decades.
Don Lemon deserved to be fired, Tucker I sense went against Paul Ryan and the leftist Murdoch boys.
