Robinson has a natural connection with the true Patriots across the heartland of this country. And, his conservative credentials can be traced back to his 2018 statement at his county commissioner's meeting where he stood up for the 2nd Amendment rights of the citizens of our nationSo, why is he having anything to do with Republicans?

The original song was written by Australian country singer Geoff Mack in 1959.
The song was presented to Hank Snow. Initially, the song was declined because the lyric locations were Aussie towns and cities. They didn’t think it would work in Nashville, so the Aussie names were changed to US towns and cities.
Several artists have recorded the Americanized version.
