Prince Harry and Meghan and her mother were involved in a "near catastrophic car chase" involving paparazzi photographers, a spokesperson for the prince has said.
The incident lasted over two hours and resulted in multiple near collisions, the spokesperson said.
“This relentless pursuit, lasting over two hours, resulted in multiple near collisions involving other drivers on the road, pedestrians and two NYPD (New York Police Department) officers,” they added.
“While being a public figure comes with a level of interest from the public, it should never come at the cost of anyone's safety.
“Dissemination of these images, given the ways in which they were obtained, encourages a highly intrusive practice that is dangerous to all in involved.”
It followed Meghan’s attendance at Tuesday night’s Ms Foundation for Women’s 50th anniversary gala event in Manhattan with her husband, Prince Harry, and mother Doria Ragland.

it sounds like they, these two idiots, were creating unsafe driving conditions in New York City. They are solely at fault whether anybody is stupid enough to try to take their picture or follow them. It sounds like they were the ones creating the scene. He should go back to England, leave us alone. And it is rather embarrassing that some Americans bow to, and hang onto this inbred family, pretending to lead the UK.
