Obama vs. McCain was designed by both major parties of the U.S. political system to crucify the U.S. Constitution.
Both were ineligible (Panama John was born
not in the PCZ/Panama Canal Zone, or at the rudimentary infirmary of Coco Solo Naval Station, but rather at Colón Hospital in the Panamanian port city of Colón).
It was a M.A.D. situation:Mutually Assured Destruction, if either party were to accuse the other of fielding a constitutionally ineligible candidate.
McCain was undoubtedly a US citizen at birth, and eligible to serve. The exact place of his birth was legally irrelevant. Obama was not a US citizen at birth, and I doubt that he has ever become a US citizen.
Yes, the fix was in by the three political parties - Republican, Democrat, and Socialist parties - to ignore and abrogate the “natural born Citizen” term in the presidential eligibility clause in the 2008 election cycle since attempts by Congress to remove it by Progressives in both major parties the prior 10+ years had failed.
