Selina Soule, a track and field champion who was forced to compete against biological males in high school, pleaded with other women to take a stand in defense of female athletes as she prepares for a legal battle against the state of Connecticut.
"Everybody who has encountered this issue needs to speak up and ask for fairness," Soule said Wednesday on "America Reports." "I was one of the very first to start speaking on this issue, and it’s taken awhile, but we are finally starting to get somewhere…we need to protect every single girl in this country,"
Soule urged "everybody out there…to start speaking on this issue and ask for fairness to be restored to women sports."
Soule made the comment as she heads back to court to appeal her case challenging a Connecticut ruling that allows transgender students to participate in sports consistent with their preferred gender.
Soule and other athletes were high school track student-athletes in 2020 when they first filed the lawsuit against the Connecticut Association of Schools, alleging that the policy allowing biological males to compete against women violated Title IX.
The Alliance Defending Freedom is now working to appeal a ruling by U.S. District Court Judge Robert Chatigny, who dismissed the lawsuit on procedural grounds, saying there was no dispute to resolve because the two transgender athletes have graduated, and the plaintiffs could not identify other female transgender athletes.
Soule's attorney, Christiana Kiefer, who joined her client in the Fox News interview, said women are being robbed of athletic opportunities in their own sports because of the unfair physical advantage possessed by biological men.
"Girls deserve to compete on a level playing field, and what Selena experienced…was being sidelined in her own sport and that’s a clear violation of Title IX," she argued.

It needs to be fought because its not right, not because women don’t get to win trophies. Transwomen are just one-half of the people screwed up that need help. Pretendaboys are also wrong but no one cares because they aren’t doing things women don’t like. If they beat men in contests gynosociety would tell men to just shut up and work harder.
And the real people that need to be fought on this are those exploiting these messed up, mentally ill men and women. They need geniune treatment to accpet themselves and feel ok in their God-given bodies. Those using these people to advance sick agendas are who we need to really reserve the hate for.
Well, these women have 2 options - either start taking some strong doses of steroids, or STEP UP to the task of getting men out of their competitions.
But the one thing that won’t happen is that REAL MEN will carry the water for them, as we’re spent, they wanted us out of their lives, and so WE’RE OUT. They need to now fight for what they believe (or get on steroids).
Let the trans stand alone.

Would love to see a brave runner, with a brave lawyer, bring a civil suit for damages $$$ since their promising, lucrative track career was cut short by a person imitating a woman. Civil courts do not require a unanimous jury decision. Many female athletes get product endorsements. If the mediocre male simply puts on a dress and steals the real woman’s victories, he is also stealing future earnings
With very few exceptions, they are white males who are marginalized, and under-performers who now pretend to be women and beat the women. And Democrat leadership is supporting the men in drag over women. Women need to remember this in 2024 that democrats have replaced women with men.

No one is transgender. “Biological male” = “male.”

I am old enough to remember women DEMANDING the right to paly on men’s teams, join men’s clubs, and do men’s jobs. They were warned that turn around is fair play, and of course, they all wailed that would not happen.
