I take 500 mg of Doctor’s Best C3 Curcumin a day, one of their picks that passed testing.
We buy bulk organic turmeric online and make our own capsules. I take two per day for my osteoarthritis and haven’t needed an Advil in 5 years. It helps my asthma too.
Golden milk:
1 teaspoon turmeric, 1 tsp cinnamon, 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa.
milk (I use coconut milk with vanilla).
A sweetener, as needed - Stevia.
Heat it up and stir.
Ditto. Take a real Curcumin product, not just turmeric. The higher cost notwithstanding.
I’m 78, been doing it for years to suppress arthritis pain. Works for me.
Does anyone else here get an allergic reaction to Turmeric?
The whole side of my face swells up like a balloon, from something as simple as mustard on a sandwich.
Any placebo would work marvelously for most soccer player “injuries.” They are a bunch of fakes.
Giving the volume of the dose tells nothing about the amount of curcumin contained in it.
I take Turmeric from Costco.....no dramatic results but I seem to notice when I don’t take it....
I package my own turmeric capsules. And garlic, and cinnamon, and ginger, and cayenne, and black pepper.
A couple of hours every couple of months, and it’s a LOT cheaper than buying the stuff in the store.

Try turmeric with pepper:
About 3% black pepper (capsaicin) improves the bioavailability of turmeric,
making smaller doses more effective.
Mix 1/2 teaspoon ground pepper with 1/4 cup turmeric.

Turmeric-Ginger Tea
....1 cup water
....1/4 teaspoon ground turmeric
....1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
....Splash of milk or soy milk
....Honey or maple syrup, to taste
In a small saucepan, bring water to boil.
Add turmeric and ginger, reduce heat, and simmer 10 mins.
Stir in milk and strain tea into a cup.
Add sweetener to taste.
