You are correct about that but the AI is only a part of the enormity of our online world. The whole thing is dangerous.

Funny how we no longer hear GIGO.... it was and would remain an important concept if it still existed.

Personally, I think if I have no grandchildren, I would rather go to Chile when I grow very old. I hope they will be about as advanced as the US but without the AI stuff.

AI, like most things, can be used for good or evil. AI of itself, like most things, is neutral. The issue is who is controlling AI programming and application.

Right now, it seems to be applied for helpful things.

But the Bible show us that sometime in the not-so-distant future, AFTER the "great catching up" into heaven of believers in Christ, there is some kind of machine called "the Image of the Beast".

they made an image to the beast...the image of the beast was given life that it should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed.

Nasty stuff. AI or some AI hybrid is in there somewhere.
