Yesterday, I said it was a hoax until proven otherwise
Now, we see that he’s lying faggot, but not a flaming faggot.
Shocking ...
He’ll probably receive a letter of commendation from the mayor and/or city council for showing the potential of hatred toward homosexuals in their city.
Hate hoax? WTAH? Who ever heard of something like that?
A good strategy. Spray painting anti-gay slogans on your garage door is the old hoax. Better to try a new hoax.
“Rowin suffered second-degree burns on his side and back...”
Well, his friends always said he was a flamer.
I immediately saw this as a hoax and said so on yesterday’s post.
Gays faking hate crimes? I’m shocked I tell you - shocked. /s
Idiots aren’t aware that there are real crimes taking place and they don’t have to make them up? Unreal!!!
Crazy story gets crazier when read beyond the excerpt.
My first thought was: “How would they know he was a homo? Was he prancing down the sidewalk doing a Judy Garland impression? Did he carry a ‘pride’ sign or a LGBTP+ flag?
And if he really did have ‘second degree burns’.... I bet he jumped into a too-hot shower or spent too long at the beach that afternoon.
Downtown San Diego? There are probably 20 thousand cameras down there....
Where is the video?
Smolleted!
This is clearly a hate crime of transexuals against pregnant women.
EVERYONE. This is really what happened to the “flaming faggot”
Man allegedly assaults pregnant woman; woman sets man on fire
SAN DIEGO —
San Diego police are investigating what they described as a “complex case” after receiving reports that during an alleged assault by a man on a pregnant woman in the Gaslamp Quarter last week, the woman set the man on fire.
Investigators also said they were looking into whether the incident was a hate crime, and what, if any, other crimes were committed, police Lt. Adam Sharki said in a news release Wednesday.
The incident was reported around 10:40 p.m. June 12 on Sixth Avenue near Broadway. According to police, they received multiple 911 calls that a man had attacked a pregnant woman before he fled.
Officers spoke with the woman and with witnesses, Sharki said. The woman was taken to a hospital with multiple injuries.
Investigators began searching for the man.
Police received a report around 11:55 p.m. that an injured man on Market Street had been set on fire by another person about an hour earlier, the lieutenant said.
Paramedics took the man to a hospital.
Investigators said the man was the suspect in the attack on the pregnant woman, Sharki said. At the same time, officers started investigating the woman for causing the man’s burn injuries.
In an interview with 10News earlier this week, the man, who is gay, said he was walking home when he heard two people yelling gay slurs at him. He yelled back at them, the man said in the interview.
The two charged up behind him and threw a liquid on him that had “the consistency of water,” 10News reported. The man was set ablaze. He stopped, dropped and rolled to extinguish the flames.
The man suffered second-degree burns, he told 10News. He claimed the attack was a hate crime.
Investigators found security footage that showed the attack on Sixth Avenue, Sharki said in the news release.
The video shows the initial physical assault by the man on the pregnant woman and the subsequent “use of fire as a weapon” by the pregnant woman on the man, the lieutenant said.
The video has not been released publicly.
Police did not say what the substance was that fueled the fire, or how the man was set on fire. They did not clarify if there was evidence of a hate crime.
“This is a complex investigation and detectives are examining all aspects and allegations,” Sharki said. He later added: “We recognize the community’s interest in this case and are working to balance transparency with protecting the active criminal investigations.
“The San Diego Police Department is dedicated to conducting thorough investigations whenever allegations of a hate crime are brought to our attention,” Sharki said.
Investigators asked anyone with information to call the department at (619) 531-2000. Anonymous tips can be left by calling Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.
He should count himself fortunate that they didn’t pour bleach on him to put out the flames.
“According to San Diego Police, officers received calls about a man attacking a pregnant woman on the 900 block of 6th Avenue just after 10:40 p.m. on June 12.”
Are they sure it wasn’t a pregnant man?
So will the news-sites that published the original story on the front page, publish the true story just as prominently (if even at all)?
I suspect this incident will be added to the “homophobic hate crimes list” and never be retracted.
Who would do such a thing?
