I was born and reared in Bawstin,, Taxachusetts and left at the age of 27 for beautiful, down home Wet Virginia until I left THERE for SW Pennsyltucky, so I've been in the north east quadrant for almost a century.

I'm now 75 and I have never seen nor heard of multiple wild fires in Canada flowing northeast and causing as much havoc as Covid 19.

Why has no one proposed the theory that invaders from the north never crossed over, but brought air travel to a halt just by being firebugs?

Good questions.

The liberals are pushing global warming as the cause of the fires. I have not heard any news on what the causes of these fires are.

Is the ‘official’ story that the fires are caused by lightning strikes, or are they man-caused disasters of unknown origin?

I’d wager their origin is Intentional.

Everything I’ve heard about it is the fires were deliberately set.

This is happening because ‘the greenies’ came up with stupid ideas for natural forest control. By ‘natural’ I mean no one interferes with things like controlling burns, clearing brush etc.

Good observation. They say that lightning started them. I say Elites pushing us into chaos like they tried with the WuFlu.

I did notice a lot of people wearing masks today in Sams Club and I thought this was good idea and about the only time a mask is effective. When you can actually see the particulates you don’t want to breathe into your lungs.

Many of them started at precisely the same time, via satellite images.

Upper Midwest state here. This is the third consecutive day of choking on the pretty dense smoke from the fires. Of course the “experts” funded by the government have staked this on globull warming. I’ve heard multiple sources say arson.

I too was bawn in Bawstin and still live neah theah.

Anyhow, I haven’t seen or smelled any smoke here.

Btw, I imagine the problem with wildfires in Nova Scotia is similar to the problem we now have around Boston due to an overabundance of wildlife (in particular, black bears). Both problems are due to changes in behavior after WWII. People stopped gathering kindling from the local woods and people stopped shooting wildlife in the local woods. Now the woods are filled with kindling and our yards are visited by black bears and, we have a Lyme disease problem.

Apparently California and other western states forest management rules have moved to Canada. Not long ago US forests were purged of fallen trees, chipped and burned in power plants. Now we have catastrophic fires producing more CO2 than the power plants because logic is a thing of the past.

I don’t have a theory, but people in the area report something more akin to the neighbor burning garbage than forest fires.

I have no doubt that the US or Canadian government would start fires and keep them going for political gain. I have also seen fires started from helicopters on video. People say they are starting back fires. Why hasn’t the fire or fires been put out yet? Governments have an insane policy that they are natural, we shouldn’t interfere, so let them burn.

FWIW - almost all wildfires in Canada start with lightning. It happens often in Western Canada just as wildfires are more common in the Western US.

These fires start in very remote areas. People have little concept of how remote much of the forests in Canada really are.... we are talking about massive swaths of forest and tundra with no road network.

Canada has a different approach to fighting these because of how remote they are and a lack of resources. They generally try to protect private property and infrastructure and let the fires burn and its probably a correct approach for better forest management because the more fires you suppress he heavier and larger the fuel loading is for the next one.

Another thing that I believe is influencing this is the pine beetle. It has swept through Western forests in the US, BC, and Alberta and I understand it is present in central and eastern Canada now. When you kill off lots of trees in overgrown forests it acts as a ladder fuel and puts fire up in the trees when it might otherwise stay mostly on the ground.

Just my .02 and I don’t view this as a conspiracy or terrorism. There are certainly wildland arsons but most are accidental either from natural causes (lightning), trains (I have seen a few of these), and/or negligence (discarded cigarettes, slash piles, machinery) there is proof positive for lightning strike fires and presumptive starts along rail lines.

When vegetation dries out (uncommon in the humidity on the east coast) you can start a fire simply by your lawnmower hitting a rock (this happened to me a few years ago on riding mower along my driveway).

Someone I know in one of the areas most affected at present reported that the smoke looks blue and the air smells “chemical” in nature.

I’m a couple hours south. While I definitely don’t think its a good idea to take my walks, I can’t say I notice what he’s noticing.

I don’t remember ever being in area beset from the verified smoke of verified forest fires hundreds of miles away, so I can’t make any comparisons to what I am experiencing in my area.

But I wouldn’t put it past our evil rulers to try to poison us with something and blame forest fires, nor would I put it past them to allow a lot of fires to be deliberately set. Perhaps both is going on.

I have a house on the edge of wooded area, as I am sure many do, and am slightly worried.

What havoc? I don't have cable, so I’m not watching the news. I did see a red moon last night when the clouds broke. I suppose that’s from smoke. It's hazy to day, but smoky last week. I’m in Central PA. I’ve seen smoke from Canada in previous years, and this year is sort of exceptional. It is barely record breaking for acres burning, not even close for the number of wildfires. 18.2 million acres (7.37 m hectares) have been reported to have burned as of yesterday.

I can’t be objective on this subject after anarchists left flyers in our community in September 2020 that said they would burn out Trump supporters.
The entire I 5 corridor south of leftist holds if Portland and Eugene was on fire..two towns full of senior citizens, including mine, gone.

Burning people out of their homes and community is one of the oldest tactics of invasion and warfare.

Regardless of how the fires started, are the Canuckians even TRYING to put them out? These fires seem to be going on for longer than normal and I’ve seen no footage and heard nothing of Canadian fire fighting.
