just another loveable pitbull committing a heinous act on the defenseless. Today a kitten, tomorrow a small child, what’s the big deal? It’s not the pit’s fault. And certainly not the owner’s fault. Pits and their owners are never at fault. Something the cat/child did ‘spooked’ the dog so it’s the victim’s fault. Don’t be a hater! /s

My current cat is the granddaughter of a stray that moved in under the house in about 1995. I’d hear her mewing, and the dog...a Staffy Terrier... probably chased her a few times. One day, the door was open, and the dog and I were watching TV. I saw the cat tentatively come inside. walk down the hall, hop up on the coffee table, and turn her back on us and sit down. The dog looked at her, looked at me, and I said “Let it go.” He was disappointed, but it was our cat after that. Her kittens would play with the pits tail out in the yard.
Last exclusively indoor cat I knew of turned on the wife of the couple that owned it. She was a nutty lib, so it figured. They had to get rid of it.

Today a kitten, tomorrow a small child, what’s the big deal?Yeah, last year I talked to a guy who was at a yard sale, and while he was there, a pit bull went after a baby in a stroller and ripped off part of the baby's face. I didn't press him for details, and don't know if the baby survived. I hope someone shot the dog.
