FRANKLIN, Tenn. (WZTV) — A Middle Tennessee soccer coach accused of recording himself raping children entered the United States illegally, police confirmed Wednesday.
Camilo Hurtado Campos was taken into custody days ago for allegedly drugging and raping young boys. FOX 17 News has now learned Campos is an illegal immigrant.
Police are calling the case one of the most "shocking" and "egregious" they've seen. Investigators have identified three of the 10 victims. Five more they didn't know about have also come forward.
Sen. Marsha Blackburn (R-Tenn.) said in a social media post Wednesday Campos' crimes are "further evidence that we need to build the [border] wall now." She reiterated this in a one-on-one interview with FOX 17 News Reporter Kaitlin Miller.
"Right now, every town is a border town and every state is a border state," Sen. Blackburn said. "Because of issues we are seeing with drugs and sex trafficking, human trafficking, and just the myriad of issues. Crime, gangs."
Tennessee Sen. Jack Johnson represents Williamson County. The Republican lawmakers says he believes the US should secure borders to prevent these kinds of crimes from happening.
"Well first and foremost we need to secure our borders so we make sure monsters like this aren’t coming into the country every single day," Sen. Johnson said. "This is a good example of why we should know who’s coming into the country, we should know about their criminal record." The accusations against Campos have neighbors terrified, and many political activists are now calling on Tennessee to enforce stricter laws against child predators.
FOX 17 News has obtained a letter from the Williamson County Soccer League addressed to parents, stating that Campos was not affiliated with the county or state's league in any way. The letter says Campos coached within the Hispanic community but was not licensed or approved by a legitimate league. Read the letter in full below.

Just in general....soccer is just not much of a sport to most of the non-migrant Tennessee kids. Even from the California crowd that moved in...I doubt if attracts that much attention. So this whole thing cornered itself into the Hispanic community around Nashville.
This story should be spread throughout Central America. Suggest that if they cross the border illegally, their boys will be turned over to this guy for soccer ‘training’.

My thoughts exactly. Youth soccer is very popular, because there's a low potential for injury and it's cheap to play by comparison to football or baseball. All of my kids played soccer; one of them played a bit in high school.
That’s the reason Biden is bringing in illegals — for sex with American adults.
The penalty for serial child rape should be death regardless of citizenship--but child rape by an illegal alien can only happen because of the government's refusal to secure the border and deport those here illegally.
Build the wall is code for not enforcing current immigration laws and having mass deportations. Illegals aren't scared to work and rape here, a wall won't stop them, but mass deportations and having their assets seized and confiscated is a step in the right direction.
The other side of the nearest national border is probably deep water.
