Cubs are in Tampa in June and Miami in August.
Does anyone have information on the hotels/resorts where most of the fans stay?
We have done spring training in Scottsdale/Mesa and love staying a place next to Old Scottsdale and foods and beverages within walking and crawling distance.
With the balanced schedule we are now trying to follow more road games.
Please advise.

You do know that Tropicana Field is actually in St Petersburg, not in Tampa, right? It’s across the bay from Tampa, in Pinellas County. So, your closest hotel options will be in the St Pete area or on the Pinellas beaches.
That’s the problem with the Ray’s. It’s in St Petersburg, not Tampa. But Tampa is probably a cooler place to stay at.
Your Cubs are losing 8 to 3 to the Red Sox, but it just started raining in the ninth.
Yeah, I am aware of St. Pete being the actual site of the ball park...Kinda like the Arlington Cowboys...HA!

Every hotel as there are no Rays fans in Tampa/St Pete. Closer to the park would be my choice.
