Do you seriously think reducing any federal miltary spending will result in any proportionate increase in any domestic spedning? Most spending reductions of any kind do not result in merely shifting military to domestic spending, if any thing they are done to reduce the total federal budget, not spend the same money elsewhere.
West Virginia does not need more federal welfare. It needs private capital economic devopment to replce older WV industries.

We have a right to sit in aqualor or poverty rather than leaving for work. Welfare encourages us to lose ambition toward a better future if we can almost scrape by on not trying much more.
They are free, and not stupid. But welfare is like a light narcotic, and social security helps on top, though earned as promised.
