The floundering Walt Disney Company’s Disney+ streaming service is expected to record a $800 million third-quarter loss.
That’s nearly a billion dollars lost in a single quarter.
I tell ya, Disney’s slow-motion collapse is more entertaining than anything these child predators have created in years.
Apparently, grooming little kids doesn’t pay.
Who knew?
In better news, Disney stock took a dive after it was announced disgraced CEO Bob Iger extended his contract to 2026.
The smart money knows Groomer Bob is not good for business.
Wanna good laugh? The Disney sycophants in the corporate media have been portraying these massive losses as a good thing.
The far-left New York Times back in May:
To understand the forces that have been roiling the biggest media companies, look no further than Disney’s earnings. Streaming economics are improving — considerably so. But not fast enough to offset declines in traditional television, which is in free fall.
Disney said on Wednesday that losses in its streaming business for the most recent quarter totaled $659 million, an improvement from a year earlier (and a vast improvement from the October-to-December period, when losses totaled $1.1 billion). Streaming revenue climbed 12 percent, reflecting a sharp increase in revenue per paid Disney+ subscriber, a metric investors watch closely.
Oh, yeah, what a relief… Losses were only down $659 million. Well, now that those losses appear to have spiked back up to $800 million, we can all look forward to the rewrite. Right? Right?

Look at their stock price today. It closed at $85.56 which was down $3.06 from Friday’s close. Two years ago it was a $180.00 stock. Its 52-week low is 84.07 and I suspect it will drop below that soon.
Disney, like Bud-Light, has destroyed it’s brand. It would take a 180 turn in production ideas and marketing to start reversing the destruction. They aren’t going to do that. I suspect the share-holders are not happy. But, as long as the GIBLETS are controlling the show the destruction will continue. Disney long ago abandoned the family values that made them the great company they were but like pigs in a mud-hole they are now wallowing in filth. (At least pigs are useful and provide us bacon).
The Bee!
They should all be sued for fiduciary negligence.
Go woke, go broke.
Duck Fisney
I doubt that Disney will recover their status or recoup their losses.
Evangelical Perversity aimed at little kids?
Disney is now the Jimmy Savile of entertainment.
Adios, Mickey ... we hardly knew ye.
how about a new feature film starring dylan mulvaney
“Hope they double and then triple down on what they’re doing.”
That seems likely.
It’s almost like they forgot about their customers.
Hulu with live TV was $82.99 through my cell company. It is now 82.99 with ESPN+ ($9.99 stand alone.) and Disney+ ($10.99 stand alone.) so billed directly to them they incentivizing $21 a month and cannibalizing existing dual revenues.
All I need is ESPN. Better yet, the SEC network. I hope they spin off ESPN for the cash.
Maybe this is break-up time. Spin off Disney Legacy, say everything before 1970. Spin off ESPN. Keep Disney LGBQTP. They should concentrate on their core competency, perversion.
It shouldn’t be hard to spin Disney perv. as a growing market. It would be good to shed the extraneous divisions and diversions. The press would lap up this brilliant business move. They might even make a song:
Bob Iger, Bob Iger,
Brave courageous and bold.
Long live his fame and long live his glory
and long may his story be told.
Snow White. Truly a classic of American cinema. I can’t wait for these cretins’ woke remake to bomb. I’m also still waiting for some entrepreneur to announce that, when the copyright runs out on the revered Steamboat Willie on December 31, that the entrepreneur will be producing toilet paper with the image on it. Put me down for two cases
For college football, that's worth it. When they're going to unbundled it, you'll have fans pay $20 a month to watch college football via streaming.
Apple has been making inroads into sports broadcasting. Perhaps Iger/Cook can make a deal.
Time for the Apple to buy Disney rumors to startup again.
That’s a decent start…go woke harder Disney…
I feel bad for some of the rank and file there, primarily the omes who really need the job
But I truly hope Disney, as it is now, goes bankrupt. Woke and perverted are reasons to take down the house of mouse.
Won’t work, I have seen some information on this and that is a dead end for them. People don’t even want to watch the old stuff as much anymore.
