A mob stomped to death a nightclub security guard on a Hollywood street over the weekend, police told KTLA-TV. What are the details?
The Los Angeles Police Department said officers responded to the Dragonfly Hollywood nightclub in the 6500 block of Santa Monica Boulevard near Wilcox Avenue around 2 a.m. Sunday concerning reports of seven to 11 people attacking one person, the station said.
“The victim was working at this nightclub, and a large group — for unknown reasons — confronted that security guard, causing him to fall into the street, at which time the group advanced and kicked and stomped him to death," LAPD West Bureau Homicide Division Detective Samuel Marullo said, according to KTLA.
Police were investigating whether the fight began inside the club and spilled outside or whether it began outside, the station said, adding that the nightclub was open and full of customers when the incident occurred. 'Family-oriented man'
Friends and coworkers identified the security guard as Daniel Sandifer, a father of two, and they gathered outside the club Sunday night to light candles and pay their respects, KTLA said.
“Good guy, love him, family-oriented man ... just sad,” one of his friends, who didn't want to appear on camera, told the station. “Unfortunate situation, words were exchanged, and they ended up jumping him.”
Police said the suspects fled the area on foot westbound on Santa Monica Boulevard to southbound Hudson Avenue, KTLA said, adding that no arrests have been made, and no suspect descriptions have been released.
“It was brutal, that shouldn’t even happen,” another of Sandifer’s friends told the station. “They should’ve just let it go, just walk away. He had a life to live. I don’t know how they felt, but ... he got two kids to go home to. Now he can’t even see his kids no more.”
Video of the aftermath showed first responders attempting life-saving measures on Sandifer, who police say was 32 years old, KTLA said.
At the time of the incident, the club was hosting its weekly Signature Saturdays event with Detroit rapper Tee Grizzley headlining, the station said, citing the club’s social media. The club was slated to host a Sunday event called Sunday Night Fever but was closed out of respect for Sandifer, KTLA added.

It’s past time for any mask covered CCW to walk up and shoot these savages dead and then disappear in the mob. That includes “teens” and so-called women who are attacking. Not that I condone such actions.

I am starting to feel about LA and SF and other major cities as I have long felt about public schools. Why are rational people still living in and frequenting these places? I am not quite to the point that I believe that all rational people have already left and that those still there are asking for it or are just not rational.
