In the North post Civil War it was GOP party factions in the cities battling over the spoils of patronage jobs and government contracts.

Factional gangs brawled for physical control of the polling places on election day, men grew full beards in the weeks before an election, voting early, shaving various parts of the beards, moved on to vote again and again, shaving a different part of their face between votes.

Perhaps had Nixon contested the stolen election of 1960, America would not be in the mess we're in today.

Democrats saw they could get away with election theft, became emboldened, and institutionalized it in major cities throughout the United States.

Our freedoms and prosperity are very much in jeopardy.

The 1948 election was likely stolen snd Joseph P Kennedy sr was deeply involved. His gangster cronies from his bootlegging days had a score to settle with former-prosecutor Dewey.

I REMEMBER THE 1960 VOTE! Nixon had it till the vote from Chicago came in. Even then it was said the mafia told the Labor Unions to vote Dem.

Old Joe Kennedy had the mafia stuffing the ballot boxes in 1960.

This is well known history here in West Virginia. A well researched book was written about the Democrat machine buying votes to steal the election for Kennedy.

This all is no secret.

The media treats it as a secret, never mentioning this fact in current reports on the topic of election fraud.

Author was on our local talk station years ago.
Very knowledgeable and entertaining.
Democrats historically are evil.

‘In 1960 I was 9 years old.’

I was 11, an we lived in Northern Jersey, NYC suburbs; we got plenty of coverage of it...

the story of that election not being on the up and up started the very next day...

‘Nixon knew it was stolen but conceded “for the good of the country”

he did more than that; he was the sitting VP and thus had the duty of certifying the elector’s votes...he certified them at his own expense...

‘likely he knew the courts would not touch it...’

as did both Mike Pence and Donald Trump; Trump’s theatrics throwing Pence under the bus were cheap and tawdry...

Something should have been done about it in 1960.

There have only been two times in 26 election cycles that a candidate won Florida and Ohio and lost -- 1960 and 2022.

At least, back in 1960, Kennedy was the more conservative of the two, had the same economic philosophy as Reagan and was vehemently anti-communist.

The story I always heard growing up is that while Nixon had compelling evidence of fraud, he wanted to spare the country the trauma of a contested victory. In typical Nixon fashion, when he called Kennedy to concede he said “Congratulations, Senator. You stole it fair and square.”
