The only way the Russians can “win” is if the rest of the World abandons Ukraine. That is the purpose behind many of the comments here.

I am of the opinion that it is too early to focus on taking ground. The focus should be destruction of military equipment, supplies and supply lines, and killing soldiers. These are strategic goals that are necessary to win the war. Ground gains are tactical goals that are helpful in winning battles.
