Recent reports from The Wall Street Journal and the New York Times, as well as new court filings in U.S. Virgin Islands civil suit, have revealed a number of additional prominent people who were associates of Jeffrey Epstein’s. Their ties to the notorious sex trafficker and longtime high-society hobnobber were not previously known, having not appeared in Epstein’s infamous black book or in the public flight logs of passengers who traveled aboard his private jet before his jailhouse death in 2019 while awaiting trial.
The new reports also deepen public understanding of the ties between Epstein and some boldfaced names who he had previously been associated with. And they underscored just how frequently Epstein met with his high-flying pals. The Journal delved into his packed itinerary for just one day - September 8, 2014 - and found that he planned to meet with four extremely wealthy men: Bill Gates, Leon Black, Thomas Pritzker, and Mortimer Zuckerman.
The Journal discovered the names after it obtained a previously unreported trove of documents, including thousands of emails and Epstein’s private schedules dating from 2013 to 2017. (The New York Times says it obtained Epstein’s scheduling documents through a public records request to the U.S. Virgin Islands attorney general.) The documents all pertain to the time period after Epstein pleaded guilty in 2008 to soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution in Florida, and at least some of the period was after Epstein was publicly accused of sex trafficking by victim Virginia Giuffre in 2015.
The schedules include details of numerous meetings Epstein planned and with whom - but the Journal notes that it could not verify whether all of the meetings actually took place. Many of the meetings took place at Epstein’s Upper East Side townhouse, one of the locations where he is...

The CIA should try what worked in the past - hire based on intellect and merit...
The penalty for passing secrets after one's employment in the agency ends should be mandatory exile or death - and no one who is exiled can take a nickel of their money out of the US.
There should be oversight at all times by citizens groups that have the power to investigate and recommend indictments. The legal process in adjudicating these matters cannot involve a singe government employee, and should have a five judge panel with a civilian jury specifically educated to know breach of law.
No government agency should be allowed to do their own hiring, or have any input into hiring. They should submit job skill set criteria, and then the hiring will be done by revolving civilian employment agencies - all vetted and on oath to not have connections to government or foreign entities (penalty for lying = exile or death).
The assumption when fashioning anything government should be that government jobs attract ideologues, narcissists, and criminals.
Of course, there would have to be much more involved to ensure agencies did not become self-serving self-perpetuating problems.

Whether those folks engaged in illicit activity I have no idea Bill Clinton’s reputation I have established by personal observation of the man in 1992.

Why do you think Epstein was “rogue”? Seems like he was precisely mainstream. Blackmail and compromise on powerful people is right in the mainstream of CIA.

CIA never did that. They hired their chums from the same university and social circle. And nearly all were deeply connected to finance and banking.
I see no record of CIA high IQ or success. I see a mafia structure for the blue bloods, which uses the same exact tactics as the mafia.
But high IQ? Not seeing it.
You are correct except you forgot to add that Bill Barr’s father hired Epstein as a Math teacher at a VERY PRIVATE SCHOOL, 322even though he hadn’t GRADUATED FROM COLLEGE!!

They are an anathema to a free society where the Government is loaned power from the people. We did not have them until our government was contaminated by British input from WWII.
We had military intelligence that was focused on foreign military capabilities and actions.
Intelligence agencies in the British model which we have do everything in secret. The secrecy -directly- causes that agency to become despotic. The reason is that they believe they have superior information that is not available to the public. So for reasons we are not allowed to know, they begin to decide everything FOR us. And then next step is manipulating the population to achieve what they think is important. This unleashes a firehose of propaganda.
They do not have a place in a republic.
After moving to Washington, D.C., to work as an intelligence analyst for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Barr entered the evening student program at George Washington University Law School. He graduated in 1977 with a Juris Doctor with highest honors....
He was literally a CIA employee. But he probably “left” the agency and barely knows anything about them after that. LOL
And Barr’s dad, who hired Epstein, wrote a book. It was basically a “fiction” of Epstein Island in space, breeding 13 and 14 year old girls.

I don’t believe Epstein ever went rogue, I believe he was an intel asset all along, getting information needed to keep ALL legislators in line ON BOTH SIDES of the isle making sure that the DEEP STATE would always be running the country!! The bastards on our side of the isle once compromised didn’t have the guts to just resign for the good of the nation!! I believe in my gut that this is what Epstein was all about!!
