Agree. Popeye’s are always filthy. And their fried chicken sandwich is nasty.
LOL- I wonder how many people have no idea what that is.
I was surprised to read it is real restaurant in NM now.
The local Wendy’s restaurants all seem like they reduced the size of the chicken piece but didn’t reduce cooking time so they are small and overcooked.
I had a Chick Fil A sandwich the other day and it has SHRUNK!
My husband had one and said it was fine but the next one he got in another state was also much smaller- bun and all!!!!

Bojangles and Zaxby’s have yet to expand north over the Mason Dixon line. We also don’t have a Church’s around here.
We do have a Canes, but they are limited to chicken tenders and if they have a sandwich I am unaware of it. We’ve tried Canes and do not understand the hype.
Popeye’s may theoretically be the best fast food chicken, but I’ve been to several and they’ve usually been dry and staffed by people who don’t give a damn.
Chick-fil-A is easily the best. Good quality chicken. Wonderful salads. Yummy mac and cheese. Lemonade. And employees that don’t hate you because you’re white.
We did Popeyes for Thanksgiving once. Chicken instead of turkey. Winner
Factoring in the intangibles like speed of service and hospitality I give Chic-fl-a the edge.
The best thing about Church’s is knowing not to go there. If I see a Church’s sign on the highway, I know to skip that exit
I have seen more than one Bojangles that still has Patio strawberry soda (Pepsi’s failed entry, first as a diet soft drink, then as a Fanta competitor). Wikipedia claims Patio is extinct. I know better.
