0:00:00 - WTC1, the north tower is already hit and on fire. Recording of first clip starts at 8:49:06 a.m. according to NIST VideoList. Time uncertainty margin of each clip has been determined by NIST as 1 second.
0:13:11 - Impact explosion and jet-fuel fireball at the north face of WTC2 at approx. 9:02:54 a.m.. Smoke expulsions at the east and north faces of WTC1 on upper floors. TV signal (CBS Channel 2) is lost for about three seconds, then again at 0:13:51.
0:14:33 - Clip change. TV signal is apparently lost again. Beginning of long continuous and relatively static shot of Twin Towers burning until 1:01:56 (9:04:39 a.m. to 9:52:01 a.m., +/- 1 second according to NIST). Unfortunately, camera lens has been zoomed out bit too far during that shot.

The explosions are vapor cloud explosions. The diesel got released and dispersed. Then it ignited. Somewhere in the report they give the TNT equivalent of the explosions.
The VCE took out the external supports of the tower. For most of the length on each side and about seven floors high. We cannot see the damage to the internal supports from the explosions. The external supports were installed in large pieces. We can see where these entire pieces got blown out. That was the fatal weakness of this building design.
And Brandon won't be in New York, DC, or PA to remember the dead, he will be in Alaska.
Look at the design of the floor trusses used in the Twin Towers.
Then look for the image of the I95 overpass in Philadelphia that collapsed after a tanker crashed and burned underneath recently.
The floor trusses wouldn’t have lasted long given their much lesser strength compared to the beams supporting the overpass.
I was building a house for an NYPD Bomb Squad member at the time. He went and worked the pile. I got a lot of gruesome stories told to me which I will not repeat.
