They are after small valuables easily concealed so that nikon or anything bigger is probably ok. Probably. I’ve seen thieves brazen beyond belief.
My brother was in the Miami airport about 5-8 years ago, on a vacation.
He said it looked like a 3rd World dump.
He loved Florida though, that was his only complaint that I can recall.

The only difference between these guys and any other criminal that works for the government, is that the government has legalized most of that theft.
Memphis, Jackson, LAX, Detroit, and DFW TSA officers I observed were 90% ethnics. A friend of mine that works at BNR says the upper level management hires blacks over whites more often than not. And we wonder why the level of honesty is deteriorating?
It never ceases to amaze as well as concern me when I go to the airport and the dregs of society who are hired by the TSA to “protect” us and “ensure air travel safety”. Is this truly the best the TSA can hire? Somehow we managed from 1914 through 2002 without this bloated government agency creating a bottleneck in air travel, but now they are “indispensable” and apparently criminals on top of that.
