Couldn’t they just put one shoe on display, with the other secured in the back?
Reprobates also have no fear of prosecution for theft.
A Nike store closing? Horrors!
Because of crime? Horrors!
In Portland? Horrors!
Sorry, I can’t muster up any sympathy for them.
Shoplifters need to organize and sue Nike for violating their god-given right to loot and pillage.
Nike shoes suck anyway. Back when I ran quite a bit, I bought a pair of Nikes. Once. Damned near crippled me.
A former exec at NIKE is my sons friend. When NIKE started to go woke, supporting what was anti American values, My son asked why is the company doing this?
The answer was, “That’s who we are!”
Sad to have to put that on NIKE”S tombstone but they deserve the recognition.
Another etching could be, “GO WOKE, GO BROKE!
And he is out of a job now.
This is not just a problem in Democrat areas.
I’m in Texas and I witnessed a black guy quickly wheeling a shopping cart loaded with beer cases out of and entry door of a large supermarket. He obviously had not paid for it, and his mannerisms gave him away.
Didn’t Nike endorse Kaperneck?
Unfortunately, when it comes to vigilantes and citizen law enforcement, the legacy “justice system” will find all sorts of energy and zeal.
Socialist Democrats OWN this current ‘crime spike.’
And all OTHERS throughout History!
I don’t run, I work. Nike unfortunately is the only shoe that fits. Also unfortunate they make noise after a bit of time has passed. Noise so loud that you can hear me coming if things are quiet. Never had that sort of problem with other shoes.
Glad they work for you. The toe box never would fit my feet right. I don’t think I even used them enough to notice whether they got noisy.
You’re lucky to be able to wear running shoes at work. Before I retired, it was steel-toed boots every day. Now I tend to wear lightweight hiking boots; they’re sturdy enough for most of what I do around the property and for hiking with a light pack, and I can run in them if I need to.
Air Monarch are the only ones I buy. In black they look enough like a dress shoe to work for me. In white they are semi athletic shoes. They have a large toe box compared to actual running shoes.
Work might be a bit of a misnomer as I am well past retirement age. Work as the wife and I call it is two or in some cases three days a week merchandising for three to four hours.
I’ve been retired a little over three years now. Thinking about seeing if the local hardware store needs someone a couple of days a week, just to get out of the house a bit. It’s only about two miles away, so I could walk or cycle, now that the weather’s cooling a bit (barely 100 yesterday).
It's nurture, not nature.
