The slang term is called “boosting”...and it’s very lucrative.
I remember a story about the “Occupy Wall Street” people camping out then going to a Wendy’s and throwing fits with the cashier that they were expected to pay for the food they ordered. This mentality has become more mainstream as a result of OWS and similar movements from the Left poisoning minds.

I heard that term decades ago when I taught at an urban public high school. And yes, I would talk to the students about how wrong stealing was.
No one would actually admit that it was wrong. They always defended their “boosting” by saying the items were priced too high, or the store owners were greedy, etc.
Sort of like a warped Robin Hood. Steal from the rich, give to themselves.

Those wimpy woke corporate boss jerks deserve to suffer but we don’t. Pro leftist stands every time a reverend puts the hand out for money and the company’s weepy statements to the community about lack of racial equity.
We have to pay higher prices because of their not being brought to “justice” in the pseudo justice legal system.
How the keeids gonna get their school clothes and fresh kicks? It really would be racist if stores shut down and not supply the keeids with free stuff.
Also note the other end of this process — where are the goods sold?
Someone, a lot of someones, are buying stolen goods. On the street or eBay?
If this crime did not pay it would not happen.

I read recently that Lowes hardware reported over $900 million in losses due to “shrinkage”. in 1 year!!
If they refuse to call it shoplifting and support the democrats then it is just a matter of time before that company goes out of business.

That all races are shoplifting these days. Though blacks are the most prolific.
They are the ones teaching young, fatherless black boys to hate the police and "white" America. They are the ones teaching fatherless boys to take what they want because they are owed.
The Democrats and people like Obama are telling these young men (and women) that they have no hope in America.
These are young men who might have grown up to be good and patriotic citizens had they not been lied to by people they looked up to.
Yup. A 50 cent solution.
