The Second Circuit ruled against the NRA. If the Supreme Court agreed with the Second Circuit, there would be no reason for them to take the case.
The Supreme Court has agreed to take the case. It looks good for the NRA.
What New York State did is basic fascism. Intimidate private companies to do what the government wants them to do, in order to shut down the opposition.
