No, they want to believe. People are out voting for Democrats yesterday. The country is now embroiled in two new wars, a large part of the population has gone full antisemitism, people have to work two jobs, auto and homes are close to default, and they still vote Democrat.
This is what they want.

The world is ever changing and has been since humans became
a part of it. Live your three score and ten as best you can and try
to be productive. Just look at this small part called the USA and
how it has changed since 1492 when Columbus sailed the ocean
blue. Inhabitants keep making changes and will until time ends.
