REPORT: Activists are upset at YouTuber Mr. Beast for building 100 wells across Africa that provided clean drinking water to its citizens
Although the wells provide clean water to half a million Africans, activists are upset with Mr. Beast because they're annoyed a white male was the one who solved the problem.
"I’ve been doing this for 15 years, but we’ve been struggling to continue the work because funding, awareness, and advocacy all take work," said founder of FACE Africa Saran Kaba Jones.
"Overnight, this person comes along, who happens to be a white male figure with a huge platform, and all of a sudden, he gets all of the attention. It’s kind of frustrating, but it’s also understanding the nature of how the world is," she said before giving him a weak 'thank you.'
Others were upset that Mr. Beast "highlighted" the failures of the Kenyan government that maintained the stereotype that Africa is "dependent on handouts… and philanthropic intervention."

I know a lady that os there 90%of the year trying to help them. She’s been doing it for years and it’s no better now than it was then. Until the people get up the gumption to change the country, it won’t change. Same goes here anymore
“It’s kind of frustrating…”
…take a look at statistics of average IQs across the world. Maybe that has something to do with it?
I had a (white) family member who went to Africa as a missionary. I (sadly) told him that there were people there who were profiting from the misery he would see. I warned him that if he solved too many of the local “problems” (access to water, sheltering orphans, etc.) he would disrupt the power structure and someone would take action to restore the miserable environment upon which their superiority was derived. Ultimately, he was threatened with arrest and imprisonment for his good deeds. One dark night, he and his family were attacked on a roadway they were known to travel which resulted in a serious facial injury to his child. They got the message, quickly grabbed the passports, and bugged out. It broke my heart to hear it.
Billions in aide every year since as far back as I can remember and these shithole countrys don’t spend a dime on wTer amd sewer systems for their people.
I have 2 really good friends who are Hydrogeologist and go to Africa every year to help the people with water wells.

Bless their black hearts.
No biggie.
Rival tribes or regime goons will steal the wells anyway.
We should have never gotten involved in the slave trade, should have abolished slavery from the get-go.
It will be ironic when and I hope to god IF, the blacks living on those wells start genociding the Boers/whites.
yep.
It’s just returning to its natural state.
They have produced nothing of value to Earth.
Let them all rot.
Without whites, ample food, medicine, and technology wouldn’t be there.
There would also be around 25% of the population.
All cultures are equal.
No questions need to be asked. Just walk away completely.
Let Africa be Africa.
Any whites that want to help must stay for life.
Every city in America is ruined because humans from Africa were brought here.
I would gladly trade fewer gold medals for a decent society.
Howie Longs son who played for Eagles is involved with such a project. Not sure of what part of Africa.
Be Africa. 60 million acres of arable land. Nearly 60% of the arable land in the world. Starve. Flee to white Europe for food.
Awareness and advocacy doesn't get wells drilled or dug. It does mean cutting into the grift, though, so I see your real problem.
He solved the problem for you. Just say “Thanks” and be happy about it.
Truth hurts, don't it? Rather than attack the man who helped where the Kenyan government failed, how about addressing their ire towards their failed government and themselves for who they're voting for?
Nah, because that might actually SOLVE the problem. That's too hard!
A perfect summary.
