It’s outrageous they did this on the anniversary of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald!
Nothing is sacred anymore!
It’s amazing how many players have admitted that their team did this.
Gotta think too much success is working here.
Harbaugh used the transfer process to recruit a virtually professional offensive and defensive line.
His teams are dominating traditional rivals, spoiling the competitive traditions that make the Big 10 competitive and fun for fans.
Its a bad situation and an “investigation” isn’t going to fix it.
I have no idea whether Harbaugh was “sign-stealing”, which isn’t against NCAA rules. The only evidence is the presence of UofM minions on the near-sideline seats at opponents games. In person scouting is against the rules, but an odd accusation to make in the middle of a successful season.
Not Jim Harbaugh or Michigan fan, but he can still watch at home and phone in to the coaches on the sidelines and in the booth.
Slap on the wrist. Coordinators pretty much run the game making play calls, etc. By the time the NCAA makes its decision next year, Jimbo will be long gone to the NFL. Hopefully Penn State tomorrow and then later on Ohio State will take UM down and end any chance of them making the playoffs.
College football is professional now. It is not students who play football. It is professional players who are given scholarships to “pretend” they are students.
If anything, it’ll serve to fire up his team tomorrow.
Sign stealing is a fake “crime”.
Anyone with a brain can see a sign and then watch the play. Put 2 and 2 together.
Geez, sports is worse than politics.
First read had me thinking election sign on lawns, or even referendum signage.
So these are signs between coaches and players ?
Me dumb.
This sucks for Penn State. The last thing Penn State needs is a scUM team with a chip on its shoulder.
They should have to forfeit the rest of their games. This stuff keeps happening because getting caught isn’t unprofitable enough.
Apparently, he was on the plane when they announced it.
Sending a person to scout future opponents has been outlawed in the NCAA since 1984 because the biggest schools can afford to do it and the smaller ones can’t.
Michigan will still win, easily.
Penn State coach James Franklin is a great recruiter, but a horrendous game-day coach.
In the Big Ten, Franklin as a game-day coach is worse than Ryan Day, Jim Harbaugh, Bret Bielema, P.J. Fleck, Kirk Ferentz, Matt Rhule, Greg Schiano, Pat Fitzgerald and (maybe) Paul Chryst.
Franklin ONLY beats good teams when Penn State has overwhelming superior talent. He NEVER wins when the opposing team has equal talent.
Michigan is going to court - they will get a judge to overturn at least the decision for the Penn St game.
Odds are Harbaugh will coach tomorrow.
I’m no fan of Harbaugh - I just think that’s what will happen.
