Story was here on FR a couple of days ago. Same lame glorification of premarital sexcapades. There is two people directly involved in such behavior. From the people I’ve known in those circimstances, rarely do they both go on and live happily ever after in their first marriage.
Maybe in a few years he’ll (hopefully not) marry a very experienced female about his age, and then find out what this husband is feeling now. If the teacher isn’t having serious regrets, she’s brain dead.
When looking at divorce rates: of my small school senior class (1972, 54 kids), the ones that didn’t hold off, and later ended up in divorce, probably exceed the ones that waited by 6 to 1.

Anyway, 17 year old guys are old enough to know better. If they aren’t, why should they be allowed to vote a mere year later?

By age 12 I already was instructed at home, and at church, how to respect people. But on the evening of my 16 birthday, raring to go cruise the local town, my mom gave me the life speech every teenage boy should receive.
She likely saved me from heartache.
She would have no trouble going to any bar or dive and getting laid.
But noooo ... she’s a predator and an abuser of public trust.

She is a beautiful woman. I wonder what is missing in her life to do that?
