A top Biden campaign official was noncommittal on Wednesday about President Joe Biden participating in the general election debates.
Quentin Fulks, the principal deputy campaign manager for the Biden-Harris campaign, was asked if the president was committed to participating now that the the Commission on Presidential Debates released a schedule.
Fulks, former Democratic Alabama Sen. Doug Jones and Alabama state Rep. Barbara Drummond held a press conference in Tuscaloosa, Alabama where the fourth Republican primary debate will be held on the University of Alabama's campus later Wednesday night.
'At the end of the day, we're focused on building a campaign. We'll have those conversations,' Fulks said.
When a reporter pointed out that sounded like a 'no,' Fulks revised his statement but still didn't commit Biden to participate in the trio of the debates scheduled.
'No, I said that the campaign is going to take a look at the schedule, we're going to have this conversation, but as of right now, our focus is on building a campaign and infrastructure while Republicans remain in a divisive primary, where their frontrunner is not attending debates, our campaign is focusing on what we need to do to win an election,' he said.
Former President Donald Trump, the Republican frontrunner, has skipped all four GOP primary debates, providing counter-programming instead.
This time around, Trump opted to headline a town hall Tuesday night with Fox News' Sean Hannity instead of participating.
At the same time, the former president has said he wants to debate Biden.
'We have to debate,' he told Fox News' Bret Baier during their June interview. 'He and I have to definitely debate. That's what I love. The two of us have to debate.'

The democrat party has already BANNED any other democrat from running in Florida so Biden has no competition..... Biden will be the only one on the ballot!

I doubt that he emerges out of the convention as ‘the’ candidate. Either Newsom or Michelle Obama will emerge. This will be noted as the biggest fake primary and convention of all time.
Let me make a prediction.
Assume 90 million ballots are needed to win. We all know they will be pre-printed so as to “help” retarded” Democrats “pick” the right candidate.
If it takes 30 Days to PRINT those ballots, I predict the Democrats will name their candidate 5 DAYS BEFORE the date needed to print ballots.
Basically PRINTING TIME + 5Days.
No biggie.

And to think, when Ronald Reagan was elected at 69 years of age the democrats had a screaming fit that he was too old and would not last his first term.
Then in 2020, the democrats said a senile old man of 76 was perfect for the job. Now he is 81 and they are still backing this doddering old shell of a democrat.
Biden won’t debate. Biden is no able to debate. Instead of Christie calling Trump unfit, he should be targeting Biden as Biden is clearly unfit.
The dim party has told it’s voters that their opinion doesn’t count. Here is our hand picked candidate. Take it or leave it. I hope President Trump talks about this a lot.
None of the candidates talked about Biden last night, what is wrong with them.
