Assuming temperatures will still rise (as they have been since the last glaciation, thanks to cavemen and their lack of tailpipe testing) then it's much more likely that areas suitable for growing coffee will shift some.

The climate mmiser wont use his magical evil superpowers and just disappear coffee growing zones.

Trying to price us commoners out of the things we like?

Just like the coffee "shortage" of the 70's, they raised prices and they never came back down. The rich will always be able to afford what they want.

Within broad limits, CO2 is plant food. Raising the atmospheric levels from .004% to even .006% would have negligible impact other than more greenery.

The research indicates that we might already be reaping the rewards of increased productivity rates in both arabica and robusta coffee varieties thanks to the recent rise in atmospheric CO2.


IT is known sciencew that current levels of c02 are a limiting growth factor for plans.

There are two photosynthesis pathways. One uses more energy to capture the co2 than the other. Plants are currently using the high energy pathway.

We used to inject c02 into green houses to stimulate growth.

I explained this to an agronomy grad student once. His thought was if he did, that walking into the green house would kill him. He was that programed, and I suspect some of you might be too.

Think about it:

1) what is the current percentage of c02 in the atmosphere. They suck up that c02 fast and hard.

The can of coffee I buy was $5.99 before the pandemic. It rose to as much as $12.99 but is now back to $6.99. Some crisis!

I always felt “Juan Valdez” always had another crop on the other side of a hill raising another “C” product, and it was not coffee.

We are experiencing near record warm days in the Peoples Republic of Minnesota and the Climate Change Cult and sycophant weather reporters are trumpeting that MN lakes will be overheating and there may never be ice on Lake Superior again. They barely mention that these same record highs also happened in 1939. Those unusually high temperatures in 1939 failed to bring about these dire consequences and there have been very cold winters in the intervening 80 plus years. It’s weather not climate change.
