What I witnessed at the FBI will be the agency's Waterloo
Fox News ^ | 12/06/23 | James Gagliano

Americans are losing trust and confidence in the FBI and this directly impacts national security. A staggering 63 percent view the bureau negatively -- and the reasons are hidden in plain sight. Over the past few years, valid criticisms have been leveled at the partisan decision-making within upper echelons of FBI leadership. Dating back to the 2016 Trump-Russia sham investigation, heavy-handed over-charging of Trump campaign surrogates, blatantly uneven treatment of right-wing and left-wing protesters and rioters, labeling angry parents speaking out at school board meetings as "domestic terror" concerns, aiding Big Tech’s 2020 election suppression of information, seeming disinterest in Hunter Biden laptop revelations and Biden family’s obvious influence-peddling schemes, and a laughably absurd Richmond division intelligence product warning of "radical-traditionalist Catholics," the FBI has raised eyebrows.

Many retired FBI agents – to include this author – have long caveated criticisms of the FBI by maintaining the bias and partiality concerns are related to certain FBI senior executives. We then justifiably laud the hard work and faithful service of the vast majority of the men and women who comprise the street-level, case-working special agents. Yet, it is becoming exceedingly more difficult to separate large swaths of FBI rank and file from its questionable leadership.

Retired FBI Criminal Division Assistant Director Chris Swecker recently outlined why it is no longer just FBI headquarters executives who are radically transforming the bureau and skewing it leftward. Swecker acknowledges the culpability of the FBI’s current recruitment processes:

Wray will deny whatever is happening and we’ll find out he lied next year. Again

Something like the FBI may be needed - to pursue foreign spies, islamic terrorists, industrial espionage, illegal drug networks.

Unfortunately, leaving the FBI as presently constructed, is a FAR GREATER threat to the Constitution than all of the above, combined.

Eliminate the FBI - then rebuild new agencies with new leadership, outside of Washington DC, with much smaller, and well-defined mission.

I blame them all at this point. The organization has become so infested with leftists and an assortment of mentally unstable psychopaths that anyone NOT supporting the grotesque causes needs to leave. You just can’t fight that sort of intentional malevolence and staying basically supports them.

The current FBI exists for one purpose, and it isn’t the police functions you noted: it exists to disrupt and degrade any organized opposition to the self defined Federal State.

Basically it’s the guardian of the new aristocracy - the bureaucrats and a few politicians who are seen as loyal to the bureaucracy.

The German nobility had their own hired guards who did this - harassed and intimidated any peasants who tried to organize against them. Of course so did a lot of tyrannocracies - think of the Varangian guards in Byzantium, or of course the People’s Commissariat for Internal Affairs
(NKVD). They all do it. They all know you have to do it if you want to successfully dominate people.

That’s the only real reason for its existence.

That is one heck of a headline.
Will the FBI be Wellington? or Napoleon?
Or is the writer referring to Waterloo in Iowa?

The CIA and State Dept are supposed to do what you describe in the first paragraph.

FBI is supposed to be a domestic investigation unit.

Their days of usefulness are over.

Fire 100% of them.

Eliminate the FBI - then rebuild new agencies with new leadership,…
——-
I called that earlier in the game. The fact many agents remained silent knowing the severity of their crimes against citizens calls for complete disbanding and rebuilding, with extreme interviewing the mid and lower levels.

Handle them like a corrupted business built on fraud. Bankrupt them, disband them, “ buy up” the departments that could be recycled- then rename them. Fact is, the three letter word FBI is disgusting, into the corrupted trash bin of American history.

Clearly the Fudd Bureau of Instigation (thanks James Reeves), is the Secret Police of the Bidenista/Rat party crime family.

If such a HUGE MAJORITY of Americans now understand the FBI, why are Republicans still FUNDING it?

“”The fact many agents remained silent knowing the severity of their crimes against citizens calls for complete disbanding and rebuilding, with extreme interviewing the mid and lower levels.””

The “mid and lower levels” did nothing to stop them.

If they are so blameless why did they let it go on?

This doesn’t need a whistleblower, it needs several thousand agents to walk out into the street and start talking about what they saw the high-paid “top” management doing, what they told everyone else to do and who they are really working for.

If that causes major interruptions in operations, GOOD, they have not really worked for the American people in decades.

The little tyrants have hidden behind withholding information because of their position in the agency and the almighty “it’s under investigation so we are not letting anyone know what we are really doing.”

Time for a LOT of “investigation” of the investigators.

.

A majority of Americans distrust the FBI because of the appearance of partiality and bias.

For some of us it's the well-justified suspicion that we might catch a bullet in the head for dissenting. Vicky Weaver is unavailable for comment.

These days, congressional hearings are a joke. The witnesses from governmental agencies lie, our representatives ask “gotcha” questions for sound-bites to aid in their re-election, and they all leave the hearing, shake hands and confirm plans to see each other at the next tax-payer funded reception. Democrats use their five minutes to lecture on their latest example of white-supremacy or “transphobia” while never addressing the issue at hand.

Has any bureaucrat suffered any repercussions for refusing to appear or appearing but lying in their testimony to a GOP led Congress? Does anyone remember Eric Holder and his hubris? He was right to be full of confidence since he knew he could refuse to testify and nothing would be done. The same for those that lied regarding the Russia/Trump collusion Clinton created criminal conspiracy.

We are no longer governed by representatives. Instead, we are ruled by those who fatten their own wallets while telling us to stop complaining about the money they are stealing from us. Money that they are either spending on their third vacation home or else giving to foreign invaders in order to buy their votes.
