I have a Youtube channel, tho mot so many ctreayed lately. I have some subscriptions there, amd I do post comments at will, as I do here.
I do not visit any other social media siye. They will rot your brain.

Back in my parent’s day, most people would read the newspaper and not write the editor. They would comment to each other face-to-face. So much more civilized than hiding behind a keyboard.
I am going to post meaningless drivel to ease my social anxiety.
So if I read the paper but never wrote a letter to the editor, same thing??

How is not responding to social media any different than reading a newspaper and not having an audience to listen to your opinion on what you read.
I always respond to articles, because I know I’m always going to be proven right!

Even if they had written to the editor, it wouldn't make it through. The letters to the editor were written by the newspaper and used as an extension of the propaganda, designed to make readers feel they needed to get on board with the "correct" thinking.
Bingo, but I always found those heavily into social media were of average intelligence at best.
