Serious risk of wasting time is a greater concern. I don’t have accounts in FB, Twitter, Pinterest, Tiktok...you name it, I don’t go there.
FR is as social as I get online and I don’t post much here. Life is short and no one knows quite how short.

That sounds oxymoronic.
I have a relative who is prolific on FB. She posts all the time, maybe 20 times or more a day, but she swears she “doesn’t do Facebook”. A lot of it is sharing of her many virtues via memes. I think that is a form of mental illness. Social Media Dementia maybe.
Most of my time on Facebook is spent hiding sources. I also get a tad weary at Christmas because all the grifters come out on FB.
