KANAWHA COUNTY, W.Va. (WSAZ/Gray News) - Two brothers were killed in a head-on crash Saturday night in West Virginia, WSAZ reports.

According to the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office, two motorcycles collided in a head-on crash, and brothers Shawn Dakota Roseberry, 24, and Michael Lee Roseberry, 26, both died at the scene.

Deputies said they believe that speed and wet roadways played a role in the crash, but noted the motorcycles were not street legal, had faulty equipment and neither driver was wearing a helmet.

No other vehicles or people were involved in the crash.

Wow, it took three journalists to write this article and they still did not ask and answer the obvious question, why were the two brothers driving head-on to each other?

Seems surprising that two guys like this lived as long as they did.

“No alcohol?”

They were probably capable of being dumb without any assistance from alcohol.

“You might be a redneck if …”

These two were obviously celebrating something. At the ages of 24 and 26, I’m guessing the younger one just graduated from high school and the older one was just paroled.

They might have been doing something like trying to pass each other at high speed going in opposing directions, doing something silly like videoing it, and realized they were too close, one maneuvered to adjust, lost control, and ran into the other.

Sure, they may have actually been playing chicken, but most people, even dumb people or low IQ people, don’t have a death wish like that.

They were probably trying to make a Tik Tok video.

Well. They are both dead now, brothers. Tragic.
